మేడ్చల్–మల్కాజిగిరి జిల్లా శామీర్పేట మండలంలోని అలియాబాద్ మున్సిపాలిటీ పరిధిలో పారిశుద్ధ్య నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘించిన వారిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని మున్సిపల్ చైర్పర్సన్ కంఠం శిరీష కృష్ణారెడ్డి హెచ్చరించారు. శనివారం నిర్వహించిన ఆకస్మిక తనిఖీల్లో డైమండ్ కేఫ్ బేకరీ అండ్ హోటల్లో పరిశుభ్రత లోపాలు గుర్తించిన అధికారులు యాజమాన్యానికి రూ.5,000 జరిమానా విధించారు.
తనిఖీల సందర్భంగా ఆహార పదార్థాల నిల్వ, తయారీ విధానం, పారిశుద్ధ్య ప్రమాణాల్లో లోపాలు ఉన్నట్లు అధికారులు గుర్తించారు. ప్రజల ఆరోగ్యం దృష్ట్యా హోటళ్లు, ఆహార వ్యాపార సంస్థలు తప్పనిసరిగా పరిశుభ్రత ప్రమాణాలు పాటించాలని, నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘిస్తే కఠిన చర్యలు తప్పవని చైర్పర్సన్ స్పష్టం చేశారు.
అదే రోజు అలియాబాద్ గ్రంథాలయ అభివృద్ధికి కేశవరం గ్రామానికి చెందిన బలరాం చారి సహా పలువురు దాతలు విలువైన పుస్తకాలను విరాళంగా అందజేశారు. విద్యాభివృద్ధికి గ్రంథాలయాలకు ప్రజలు తమ వంతు సహకారం అందించాలని అధికారులు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. అలాగే వేసవిలో ఉచితంగా చల్లని తాగునీరు అందించిన స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థ సేవలను మున్సిపాలిటీ తరఫున చైర్పర్సన్ అభినందించారు.
వర్షాకాలాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని అలియాబాద్లో కొనసాగుతున్న డ్రైనేజీ డీ-సిల్టింగ్ పనులను కూడా చైర్పర్సన్ క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పరిశీలించారు. డ్రైనేజీలలో పూడికను పూర్తిగా తొలగించి పనులను వేగంగా పూర్తి చేయాలని అధికారులకు ఆదేశించారు. ప్రజలకు ఇబ్బందులు కలగకుండా పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి పెట్టాలని సూచించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ ఎన్. వెంకట్ రెడ్డి, శానిటరీ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ శ్రీనివాసులు, మేనేజర్ శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి, సిబ్బంది, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Aliabad Municipality in Shamirpet Mandal of Medchal–Malkajgiri district has intensified inspections against hygiene violations, with Municipal Chairperson Kantham Sirisha Krishna Reddy warning that strict action will be taken against establishments that fail to maintain sanitation standards.
During a surprise inspection on Saturday, municipal officials found hygiene lapses at Diamond Cafe Bakery and Hotel, including deficiencies in food storage, preparation and cleanliness. The establishment was fined ₹5,000 for violating sanitation norms.
The Chairperson said food business operators must strictly adhere to hygiene regulations to safeguard public health. She warned that violations would invite stringent action from the municipality.
On the same day, donors led by Balaram Chary from Keshavaram village donated books to the Aliabad Public Library to support educational development. The municipality also felicitated a voluntary organisation that provided free drinking water to commuters during the summer.
Chairperson Sirisha Krishna Reddy later inspected ongoing drainage desilting works across Aliabad and directed officials to complete the works before the monsoon to prevent waterlogging and ensure better sanitation. Municipal Commissioner N. Venkat Reddy, sanitary officials and public representatives participated in the inspections.
