హైదరాబాద్‌లో భవిష్యత్ అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా ప్రజా రవాణా సదుపాయాలను మెరుగుపరచాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. క్యూర్ (CURE) పరిధిలో ప్రజా రవాణా, రహదారుల అనుసంధానం, రీసైకిల్డ్ వాటర్ వినియోగంపై ఆయన సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు.

నగరంలో అధిక రద్దీ ఉన్న ప్రాంతాల్లో పర్సనల్ ర్యాపిడ్ ట్రాన్సిట్ (PRT) వ్యవస్థ ఏర్పాటుకు సంబంధించిన అంశాలపై అధికారులు ప్రజెంటేషన్ ఇచ్చారు. ప్రజలు, పారిశ్రామిక ప్రాంతాల్లో పనిచేసే ఉద్యోగులు, కార్మికులకు ప్రయాణ సౌకర్యం కల్పించేలా ఈ వ్యవస్థను రూపొందించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు.

మెట్రో, ఎంఎంటీఎస్, బస్ స్టేషన్లకు పీఆర్టీ అనుసంధానం ఉండేలా ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించాలని చెప్పారు. ప్రపంచంలోని అత్యుత్తమ పీఆర్టీ వ్యవస్థలను అధ్యయనం చేసి నివేదిక సమర్పించాలని, సాధ్యమైనంత త్వరగా పనులు ప్రారంభించేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆదేశించారు.

క్యూర్ పరిధిలో వివిధ ప్రాంతాల మధ్య రాకపోకలు సులభతరం చేసేందుకు ఫ్లైఓవర్లు, అండర్‌పాస్‌ల నిర్మాణాన్ని వేగవంతం చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు. కేబీఆర్ పార్క్ చుట్టూ వన్‌వే విధానాన్ని సమర్థంగా అమలు చేయడం, ఫ్రీ లెఫ్ట్‌లు, యూటర్న్‌ల వద్ద ట్రాఫిక్ నిర్వహణను మెరుగుపరచడంపై దృష్టి పెట్టాలని చెప్పారు.

నాగార్జున సర్కిల్ నుంచి జూబ్లీ చెక్‌పోస్టు వైపు ఫ్లైఓవర్ పనులను వేగవంతం చేయాలని, యుటిలిటీల తరలింపును త్వరగా పూర్తి చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు. ముంబై వంటి నగరాల్లో నిర్మాణ పనులు వేగంగా పూర్తిచేస్తున్న విధానాలను అధ్యయనం చేసి, ప్రారంభించిన పనులను ఏడాదిలోపు పూర్తి చేసే అవకాశాలను పరిశీలించాలని సూచించారు.

హైదరాబాద్–ముంబై బుల్లెట్ ట్రైన్ మార్గానికి సమాంతరంగా రేడియల్ రోడ్డు నిర్మాణంపై అధ్యయనం చేయాలని సీఎం చెప్పారు. శంకర్‌పల్లి–చేవెళ్ల మధ్య ప్రస్తుత రహదారుల విస్తరణతో పాటు కొత్త రోడ్ల నిర్మాణ అవకాశాలను పరిశీలించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.

రీసైకిల్డ్ వాటర్ వినియోగానికి సంబంధించిన పనులను వేగవంతం చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు. రోజుకు 500 మిలియన్ లీటర్ల (500 MLD) రీసైకిల్డ్ వాటర్ వినియోగానికి ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేసినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ, చందన్‌వల్లి, ఆలూరులోని డేటా సెంటర్లు, ఇతర పరిశ్రమలకు రీసైకిల్డ్ వాటర్ అందించేలా చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. ఎత్తైన భవనాలు, ల్యాండ్‌స్కేపింగ్, పార్కుల్లోనూ ఈ నీటిని వినియోగించేలా ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించాలని సూచించారు.

క్యూర్ చట్టం అమలులో హైదరాబాద్, సైబరాబాద్, మల్కాజిగిరి కార్పొరేషన్లు, హైడ్రా, వాటర్ బోర్డు, హైదరాబాద్ గ్రోత్ కారిడార్ లిమిటెడ్ అధికారులు సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చెప్పారు. సైబరాబాద్, మల్కాజిగిరి కార్పొరేషన్ల కార్యాలయాల పనులను వేగవంతం చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to improve public transport facilities across the CURE region of Hyderabad in line with future urban development needs. He reviewed proposals concerning public transport, road connectivity and the use of recycled water.

During the meeting, officials presented a proposal for introducing a Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system in heavily congested parts of Hyderabad. The Chief Minister said the system should connect major residential areas and industrial employment hubs with Metro Rail, MMTS and bus stations.

He directed officials to study leading PRT systems around the world and submit a report. Steps should be taken to initiate the project as early as possible, with careful consideration of technology, maintenance and the selection of suitable localities.

The Chief Minister also called for faster construction of flyovers and underpasses to improve connectivity across the CURE region. He reviewed traffic management measures around KBR Park, including the proposed one-way system, free-left turns and U-turn arrangements.

Officials were instructed to expedite utility shifting and accelerate flyover works from Nagarjuna Circle towards Jubilee Check Post. Recommending a study of construction methods used in cities such as Mumbai, the Chief Minister said efforts should be made to complete projects within a year of commencement.

He also called for a study on constructing a radial road parallel to the proposed Hyderabad–Mumbai bullet train corridor. Officials were asked to examine road widening and new road construction opportunities between Shankarpally and Chevella.

On recycled water, officials informed the meeting that plans had been prepared to utilise 500 million litres per day (500 MLD). The Chief Minister directed officials to facilitate recycled water supply to Bharat Future City, data centres in Chandanvalli and Aluru, and other industries. Its use in high-rise buildings, landscaped areas and parks was also discussed.

He instructed the Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri municipal corporations, HYDRAA, the Water Board and Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited to coordinate in implementing the CURE Act. Officials were also asked to expedite work on the Cyberabad and Malkajgiri corporation offices.

The meeting was attended by Chief Minister’s Secretary Manick Raj, HMRL adviser N.V.S. Reddy, Additional Managing Director Ajit Reddy, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, officials from Cyberabad and Malkajgiri corporations, and Water Board Managing Director K. Ashok Reddy, among others.
