తెలంగాణ పోలీసు శాఖలో సాంకేతిక సేవలను మరింత ఆధునీకరించే దిశగా టెక్నికల్ సర్వీసెస్, పోలీస్ కంప్యూటర్ సర్వీసెస్ (PCS) విభాగాల పనితీరుపై సమగ్ర సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా CCTNS, TGCOP, HawkEye వేదికల పురోగతిని పరిశీలించి, పోలీసింగ్ మరియు పౌర సేవలను మరింత సమర్థవంతంగా అందించేందుకు త్వరలోనే వెర్షన్ 3.0ను అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురానున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

సమీక్షలో e-Office అమలు, HRMS మెరుగుదలలు, డేటా ఇంటిగ్రేషన్ ప్రాజెక్టులు, అడ్వాన్స్‌డ్ అనలిటిక్స్ తదితర అంశాలపై విస్తృతంగా చర్చించారు. రాష్ట్రంలో సాంకేతిక ఆధారిత పోలీసింగ్‌ను మరింత బలోపేతం చేయడంపై దృష్టి సారించారు.

దేశంలోనే తొలి e-COPS వ్యవస్థను ప్రారంభించడం, 2003లో CCTV నిఘా వ్యవస్థ, కెమెరాతో కూడిన తొలి పోలీస్ వాహనాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టడం వంటి సాంకేతిక ఆవిష్కరణల్లో తెలంగాణ పోలీసు శాఖ ముందంజలో నిలిచిందని గుర్తు చేశారు. అదే స్ఫూర్తితో కొత్త సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానాలను అమలు చేయాలని అధికారులకు సూచించారు.

అయితే కొన్ని కీలక ప్రాజెక్టుల అమలు ఆశించిన వేగంతో సాగడం లేదని అసంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. బడ్జెట్, పరిపాలనా, సాంకేతిక సమస్యలను గుర్తించి వాటి పరిష్కారానికి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని టెక్నికల్ సర్వీసెస్, PCS, P&L విభాగాలతో పాటు సంబంధిత అధికారులకు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు.

భవిష్యత్తులో కొనుగోలు చేసే అన్ని ఐటీ హార్డ్‌వేర్‌లు కృత్రిమ మేధస్సు (AI) వినియోగానికి అనుకూలంగా ఉండేలా ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించాలని సూచించారు. త్వరలో ప్రారంభం కానున్న టి-స్పార్క్ (T-SPARK) సంస్థ కార్యకలాపాలకు అన్ని విభాగాలు పూర్తిస్థాయిలో సిద్ధంగా ఉండాలని ఆదేశించారు.

Telangana Police has reviewed the progress of major technology initiatives under its Technical Services and Police Computer Services (PCS) Wings, with officials announcing that upgraded Version 3.0 of the CCTNS, TGCOP and HawkEye platforms will be launched soon to strengthen policing and citizen services.

The review also covered the implementation of e-Office, enhancements to the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), data integration projects and advanced analytics aimed at improving operational efficiency across the police department.

During the meeting, it was recalled that Telangana Police has consistently been a pioneer in technology-driven policing, beginning with the country’s first e-COPS system and later introducing CCTV surveillance and the first camera-mounted police vehicle in 2003.

While reviewing project-wise progress, concern was expressed over delays in the execution of several technology initiatives. Officials were directed to resolve administrative, technical and budget-related bottlenecks and accelerate implementation through better coordination among the Technical Services, PCS, P&L Wings and other stakeholders.

The review also directed that all future IT hardware procurements should be AI-ready to support next-generation policing. Officials were further instructed to ensure full preparedness for the launch of the T-SPARK organisation in the coming days.
