Revanth Reddy Seeks 11.56 Lakh PMAY-G Houses

తెలంగాణకు ప్రధాన్ మంత్రి ఆవాస్ యోజన–గ్రామీణ్ (PMAY-G) కింద 11.56 లక్షల ఇళ్లను కేటాయించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్ర గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి మంత్రి శివరాజ్ సింగ్ చౌహాన్‌ను కోరారు.

ఢిల్లీ పర్యటనలో భాగంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్ర గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి, వ్యవసాయ శాఖ మంత్రి శివరాజ్ సింగ్ చౌహాన్తో కృషి భవన్‌లో భేటీ అయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా తెలంగాణకు ప్రధాన్ మంత్రి ఆవాస్ యోజన–గ్రామీణ్ (PMAY-G) కింద 11,56,915 గ్రామీణ ఇళ్లను కేటాయించాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.

రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రజాప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడిన తర్వాత పేదలకు సొంత ఇళ్లు నిర్మించి ఇవ్వడానికి అధిక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తున్నామని సీఎం తెలిపారు. గత ప్రభుత్వం PMAY-G పథకాన్ని సమర్థంగా వినియోగించుకోకపోవడంతో గత పదేళ్లలో అనేక మంది పేదలు సొంత ఇళ్లు పొందలేకపోయారని, ప్రస్తుతం భారీ డిమాండ్ నెలకొందని వివరించారు.

ఆవాస్ ప్లస్ (Awaas+) యాప్ ద్వారా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిర్వహించిన సర్వేలో 11,56,915 అర్హులైన గ్రామీణ కుటుంబాలను గుర్తించినట్లు సీఎం తెలిపారు. వీరందరికీ వీలైనంత త్వరగా ఇళ్లను మంజూరు చేయాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రిని కోరారు.

ఎల్‌నినో, వర్షాభావ పరిస్థితుల దృష్ట్యా వికసిత్ భారత్ గ్యారెంటీ ఫర్ రోజ్‌గార్ అండ్ ఆజీవికా మిషన్ (గ్రామీణ) – VBGRAMGలో అదనపు పనులను చేర్చాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. రైతులు తమ భూముల్లో కూరగాయల పందిళ్లు, పశుగ్రాస ప్లాట్లు, మల్బరీ తోటలు, పట్టు పురుగుల పెంపకం షెడ్లు, ఇంటి పరిసరాల్లో కూరగాయల తోటలు, వెదురు వనాల అభివృద్ధి వంటి పనులకు అవకాశం కల్పించాలని సూచించారు.

కొండ ప్రాంతాల్లో నీటి నిల్వ కందకాల నిర్మాణం, పండ్ల తోటల్లో తేమ సంరక్షణ పనులు, వరదలు, ఇసుక మేటలతో దెబ్బతిన్న భూముల పునరుద్ధరణ వంటి పనులను కూడా పథకంలో చేర్చాలని కోరారు.

ఉపాధి హామీ పథకం (MGNREGS) కింద ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల లబ్ధిదారులకు ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణ సమయంలో 90 రోజుల వరకు ఉపాధి కల్పించే విధానాన్ని VBGRAMGలో కూడా కొనసాగించాలని సీఎం విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. స్థానిక అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిపాదించే ఇతర పనులను కూడా పథకంలో చేర్చాలని కోరారు.

సమావేశంలో ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్లు, ఉపాధి హామీ పథకానికి సంబంధించిన సమస్యలను కేంద్ర మంత్రి దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లినట్లు సీఎం తెలిపారు. వాటి పరిష్కారానికి కేంద్ర మంత్రి సానుకూలంగా స్పందించారని పేర్కొన్నారు. తెలంగాణలో పరిస్థితులను ప్రత్యక్షంగా పరిశీలించేందుకు రాష్ట్ర పర్యటనకు రావాలని శివరాజ్ సింగ్ చౌహాన్‌ను ఆహ్వానించినట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

Telangana Seeks 11.56 Lakh PMAY-G Houses from Centre

Lead: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy requested the Centre to sanction 11.56 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) for eligible rural families in the state.

During his visit to New Delhi, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Union Minister for Rural Development and Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Krishi Bhavan and sought the allocation of 11,56,915 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G).

The Chief Minister said the state government is giving top priority to providing permanent housing for poor families. He noted that the previous government had failed to effectively utilize the PMAY-G scheme, leaving many rural poor without houses over the past decade and creating significant demand.

He informed the Union Minister that a survey conducted through the Awaas+ app identified 11,56,915 eligible rural households and requested that the houses be sanctioned at the earliest.

Revanth Reddy also urged the Centre to include additional livelihood works under the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VBGRAMG) in view of El Niño and drought-like conditions. He proposed works related to vegetable cultivation, fodder plots, mulberry plantations, sericulture sheds, kitchen gardens, bamboo plantations, water conservation trenches, moisture conservation in orchards, and restoration of flood-affected lands.

The Chief Minister further requested that beneficiaries constructing Indiramma houses be allowed up to 90 days of employment under the mission, similar to the earlier provision under MGNREGS. He also sought approval for other locally relevant works proposed by the state government.

According to the Chief Minister, the Union Minister responded positively to the requests and was invited to visit Telangana to assess the situation on the ground.
