తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం మెరైట్ (MERITE) పథకం అమలుకు సాంకేతిక విద్య కమిషనర్ను రాష్ట్ర ప్రాజెక్ట్ కోఆర్డినేటర్ (SPC)గా నామినేట్ చేసింది. కేంద్ర విద్యా మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ, ప్రపంచ బ్యాంకు సంయుక్తంగా అమలు చేస్తున్న ఈ పథకం సాంకేతిక విద్యా రంగంలో నాణ్యతను పెంపొందించడంపై దృష్టి సారిస్తోంది.
హైదరాబాద్: కేంద్ర విద్యా మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో, ప్రపంచ బ్యాంకు సహకారంతో అమలవుతున్న MERITE (Multidisciplinary Education and Research Improvement in Technical Education) పథకం అమలుకు తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ఈ పథకానికి రాష్ట్ర ప్రాజెక్ట్ కోఆర్డినేటర్ (SPC)గా సాంకేతిక విద్య కమిషనర్ను నియమిస్తూ ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది.
రాష్ట్రంలోని సాంకేతిక విద్యా సంస్థల్లో బోధన ప్రమాణాలను మెరుగుపరచడం, పరిశోధనను ప్రోత్సహించడం, ఆధునిక విద్యా మౌలిక సదుపాయాలను అభివృద్ధి చేయడం, పరిశ్రమల అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా నైపుణ్యాలను పెంపొందించడం ఈ పథకం ప్రధాన లక్ష్యాలు.
రాష్ట్ర ప్రాజెక్ట్ కోఆర్డినేటర్గా సాంకేతిక విద్య కమిషనర్ పథకం అమలు, పర్యవేక్షణ, కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం మరియు ప్రపంచ బ్యాంకుతో సమన్వయం వంటి బాధ్యతలను నిర్వహించనున్నారు.

Telangana Appoints Technical Education Commissioner as SPC for MERITE Scheme
The Telangana Government has nominated the Commissioner of Technical Education as the State Project Coordinator (SPC) for implementing the MERITE Scheme, a Central Sector initiative of the Ministry of Education supported by the World Bank to enhance the quality of technical education.
Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana has appointed the Commissioner of Technical Education as the State Project Coordinator (SPC) for the implementation of the MERITE (Multidisciplinary Education and Research Improvement in Technical Education) Scheme.
MERITE is a Central Sector Scheme of the Ministry of Education being implemented in collaboration with the World Bank. The programme aims to improve the quality of technical education through multidisciplinary learning, research, institutional capacity building and enhanced industry-academia collaboration.
As the State Project Coordinator, the Commissioner of Technical Education will oversee the implementation of the scheme in Telangana, coordinate with the Ministry of Education and the World Bank, and monitor the progress of project activities across the state.
