Telangana to Launch 1.05 Crore PDS Ration Cards

స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవం నుంచి రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా కొత్త రేషన్ కార్డుల పంపిణీ

తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఆగస్టు 15న 79వ స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా కొత్తగా మంజూరైన 1.05 కోట్ల లామినేట్ చేసిన ప్రజా పంపిణీ వ్యవస్థ (PDS) రేషన్ కార్డుల పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభించనుంది.

హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రజా పంపిణీ వ్యవస్థ (PDS)ను మరింత బలోపేతం చేసే దిశగా కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా కొత్తగా మంజూరైన 1.05 కోట్ల లామినేట్ చేసిన రేషన్ కార్డులను 2026 ఆగస్టు 15 నుంచి లబ్ధిదారులకు పంపిణీ చేయనుంది.

79వ స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభించనున్న ప్రభుత్వం, అర్హులైన కుటుంబాలకు మెరుగైన సేవలను అందించడమే లక్ష్యంగా ఈ చర్య చేపట్టింది.

కొత్త రేషన్ కార్డులు లామినేషన్‌తో అందించబడనున్నందున అవి ఎక్కువకాలం మన్నికగా ఉండటంతో పాటు వినియోగంలో సౌలభ్యాన్ని కల్పిస్తాయి. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా అర్హులైన లబ్ధిదారులకు దశలవారీగా పంపిణీ చేపట్టనున్నట్లు ప్రభుత్వం తెలిపింది.

Telangana to Launch Distribution of 1.05 Crore New Laminated PDS Ration Cards on August 15

The Government of Telangana will begin distributing 1.05 crore newly sanctioned laminated Public Distribution System (PDS) ration cards across the State on 15 August 2026, marking the 79th Independence Day.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has decided to launch the statewide distribution of 1.05 crore newly sanctioned laminated PDS ration cards from 15 August 2026.

The initiative coincides with the 79th Independence Day celebrations and aims to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive durable and improved ration cards for accessing essential food security benefits under the Public Distribution System.

The laminated ration cards are expected to offer better durability and ease of use. The distribution will be carried out in phases across the State to cover all eligible beneficiaries.
