ఈ సందర్భంగా శామీర్పేట్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలో రోడ్డు ప్రమాదాల నివారణకు ప్రత్యేక కార్యాచరణ చేపడుతున్నట్లు ఎస్హెచ్ఓ తెలిపారు. ప్రమాదాలకు కారణమవుతున్న బ్లాక్ స్పాట్లను గుర్తించి సంబంధిత శాఖలతో సమన్వయం చేస్తూ రోడ్లలో ఉన్న ఇంజినీరింగ్ లోపాలను సరిదిద్దడం, హెచ్చరిక బోర్డులు, స్పీడ్ బ్రేకర్లు, రోడ్డు మార్కింగ్లు, వీధి దీపాల ఏర్పాటు వంటి చర్యలు చేపడతామని వెల్లడించారు.
అదేవిధంగా మాదకద్రవ్యాల నిర్మూలన, ట్రాఫిక్ నియమాల అమలు, మహిళలు మరియు చిన్నారుల భద్రత, సైబర్ నేరాలపై ప్రజల్లో అవగాహన పెంపు, శాంతిభద్రతల పరిరక్షణ, నేరాల నియంత్రణలో ప్రజల సహకారం అత్యంత కీలకమని పేర్కొన్నారు.

A media interaction meeting was held at the Shamirpet Police Station in Medchal–Malkajgiri district under the leadership of Station House Officer Narasimha Reddy. Representatives from print and electronic media operating in the Shamirpet area participated in the programme.
During the meeting, the SHO emphasized the importance of coordination between the police department and the media to ensure the timely and accurate dissemination of information to the public. Discussions also focused on strengthening police-media cooperation in addressing public issues and improving community engagement.
The SHO announced that the police have initiated a special road safety drive across the Shamirpet police station limits. Authorities will identify accident-prone black spots and coordinate with the concerned departments to rectify engineering deficiencies, install warning signboards, speed breakers, road markings, and improve street lighting to reduce road accidents.
He also stressed the need for public participation in combating drug abuse, enforcing traffic regulations, ensuring the safety of women and children, creating awareness about cybercrime, maintaining law and order, and preventing crime through community cooperation.
The SHO assured that the Shamirpet Police would remain accessible to the public and appealed to media representatives to continue supporting the department by spreading awareness and promoting public safety initiatives.
