A youth was arrested by Hyderabad Traffic Police for allegedly driving a car at over 200 kmph on the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road (ORR). The action was initiated after a video showing the speeding vehicle went viral on social media platforms.
According to police officials, the accused drove a high-end car at extremely high speed during late-night hours on the ORR. The video reportedly displayed the vehicle’s speedometer crossing the 200 kmph mark. Following the circulation of the footage online, police launched an investigation and identified the driver and vehicle owner.
A case was registered against the accused for rash driving and endangering public safety. Officials stated that such reckless driving poses serious risks to commuters and can lead to fatal road accidents.
