హైదరాబాద్, సెప్టెంబర్ 16: వినాయక నిమజ్జనాన్ని ప్రశాంతంగా, సురక్షితంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు పోలీసు, మున్సిపల్ శాఖలు సమన్వయంతో పకడ్బందీ ఏర్పాట్లు చేపట్టాలని సైబరాబాద్ పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ డాక్టర్ ఎం. రమేష్ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. నిమజ్జన ఏర్పాట్లపై సైబరాబాద్ పోలీసులు, సైబరాబాద్ మున్సిపల్ అధికారులు సంయుక్తంగా సమీక్ష నిర్వహించిన అనంతరం సీపీ పలు నిమజ్జన ప్రాంతాలను క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పరిశీలించారు.

ఐడీపీఎల్, సూరారం తదితర చెరువుల వద్ద నిమజ్జనం కోసం చేపట్టిన ఏర్పాట్లను సీపీ ఎం. రమేష్ పరిశీలించారు. భక్తులకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తకుండా పోలీసు, మున్సిపల్ సిబ్బంది సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలని సూచించారు.

నిమజ్జన ప్రాంతాల్లో బందోబస్తు, ట్రాఫిక్ నియంత్రణ, బారికేడ్లు, విద్యుత్ దీపాలు, గజ ఈతగాళ్ల ఏర్పాటు తదితర అంశాలపై అధికారులతో ఆయన సమీక్షించారు. భారీగా తరలివచ్చే భక్తులు, వాహనాల రాకపోకలకు అనుగుణంగా ముందస్తు ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించాలని ఆదేశించారు.

ట్రాఫిక్ ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తకుండా ప్రత్యామ్నాయ మార్గాలను సిద్ధం చేయడంతో పాటు అవసరమైన ప్రాంతాల్లో అదనపు పోలీసు సిబ్బంది, బారికేడ్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని సీపీ సూచించారు. నిమజ్జన ప్రాంతాల్లో భద్రతా ప్రమాణాలను నిరంతరం పర్యవేక్షిస్తూ అన్ని శాఖలు సమన్వయంతో విధులు నిర్వహించాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో సైబరాబాద్ మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ కమిషనర్ జి. సృజన, జాయింట్ సీపీ సన్‌ప్రీత్ సింగ్, డీసీపీ కోటి రెడ్డి, డీసీపీ రీతిరాజ్, ట్రాఫిక్ డీసీపీ శేషాద్రిణి రెడ్డి, ఎస్బీ డీసీపీ సువేంద్ర, అదనపు డీసీపీలు, ఏసీపీలు, ఇతర పోలీసు అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

విద్యుత్, మున్సిపల్, రెవెన్యూ, దేవాదాయ శాఖలకు చెందిన ఉన్నతాధికారులు, సిబ్బంది కూడా సమీక్షలో పాల్గొన్నారు. సైబరాబాద్ ప్రాంతంలో నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమం సురక్షితంగా, సజావుగా జరిగేలా శాఖల మధ్య సమన్వయానికి ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

Hyderabad, September 16: Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh directed police and municipal authorities to work in close coordination and make comprehensive arrangements for the safe and peaceful conduct of Ganesh idol immersions.

After reviewing the immersion arrangements through a joint exercise involving Cyberabad Police and municipal officials, Commissioner Ramesh inspected several immersion locations in the commissionerate limits.

He inspected arrangements at IDPL, Suraram and other lakes identified for idol immersion. The Commissioner directed Cyberabad Police and municipal personnel to work together to ensure that devotees do not face inconvenience during the immersion process.

The review covered security arrangements, traffic regulation, barricading, lighting facilities and deployment of trained swimmers at immersion locations.

Commissioner Ramesh instructed officials to prepare advance plans keeping in mind the expected movement of large numbers of devotees and vehicles. He directed officials to identify alternative traffic routes and deploy additional police personnel and barricades wherever required.

He further stressed the need for continuous monitoring of safety arrangements at immersion points and coordinated functioning of all departments during the festival.

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Srijana, Joint Commissioner of Police Sunpreet Singh, DCPs Koti Reddy and Ritiraj, Traffic DCP Sheshadrini Reddy, SB DCP Suvendra, Additional DCPs, ACPs and other police officials participated in the inspection and review.

Senior officials and personnel from the electricity, municipal, revenue and endowments departments also participated. The departments reviewed measures aimed at ensuring that Ganesh immersion activities across Cyberabad are conducted safely and smoothly.
