Collector Inspects ZP High School in Shamirpet, Orders Basic Facilities Improvement

శామీర్పేట మండలం తూంకుంటలోని జిల్లా పరిషత్ ఉన్నత పాఠశాలను జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ మను చౌదరి శనివారం తనిఖీ చేశారు. పాఠశాలలో ప్రాథమిక విభాగం మరియు హైస్కూల్ కలిసి ఉండటంతో విద్యార్థులకు అవసరమైన కనీస సదుపాయాలు ప్రాధాన్యత క్రమంలో కల్పించాలని సూచించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా పాఠశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ అదనపు తరగతి గదులు, మరుగుదొడ్లు అవసరమని కలెక్టర్ దృష్టికి తీసుకువెళ్లారు. దీనిపై కలెక్టర్ సానుకూలంగా స్పందిస్తూ సంబంధిత ప్రతిపాదనలు వెంటనే పంపించాలని సూచించారు.
తరగతి గదులు, కంప్యూటర్ ల్యాబ్ను కలెక్టర్ స్వయంగా పరిశీలించి, విద్యార్థులకు మెరుగైన వసతులు కల్పించేందుకు అవసరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
పాఠశాలలో నీటి ఎద్దడి తీవ్రంగా ఉందని, మున్సిపల్ వాటర్ సరిపోవడం లేదని ప్రిన్సిపాల్ తెలియజేశారు. బోర్ వేయించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని కోరగా, సంబంధిత అధికారులకు సమాచారం ఇచ్చి వెంటనే బోర్ వేయించాలని కలెక్టర్ ఆదేశించారు.
అత్యవసర మరమ్మత్తులు ఆలస్యం చేయకుండా ముందుగా పూర్తి చేయాలని కూడా సూచించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో డీఈవో విజయ్ కుమారి, శామీర్పేట తహసీల్దార్ సుచరిత, పాఠశాల సిబ్బంది తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

District Collector Manu Choudary inspected the Zilla Parishad High School located in Thumkunta village of Shamirpet mandal on Saturday and reviewed the infrastructure and basic facilities available for students. Since both primary and high school sections are functioning on the same campus, he stressed the need to provide essential facilities on a priority basis.
During the visit, the school principal informed the Collector about the urgent requirement for additional classrooms and toilets. Responding positively, the Collector asked the school authorities to send detailed proposals at the earliest for further action.
He also inspected the classrooms and computer lab and directed officials to ensure better learning conditions for students by improving infrastructure standards.
The principal also raised concerns regarding severe water scarcity on the campus, stating that municipal water supply was insufficient. On this issue, the Collector instructed the concerned officials to take immediate steps for borewell drilling.
He further directed that all urgent repair works should be completed without delay. DEO Vijay Kumari, Shamirpet Tahsildar Sucharita, and school staff were also present during the inspection.
