Telangana DGP Announces Major Police Welfare Reforms, Scholarships, EHS & ₹30 Lakh Loans
తెలంగాణ పోలీసు సంక్షేమాన్ని మరింత బలోపేతం చేసేందుకు విద్య, ఆరోగ్యం, రుణాలు, బీమా, డిజిటల్ సేవల విస్తరణపై కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకున్నట్లు డీజీపీ జితేందర్ వెల్లడించారు. | Telangana DGP Jitender announced key measures to strengthen police welfare by expanding education, healthcare, loans, insurance, and digital welfare services.
తెలంగాణ పోలీసు సిబ్బంది సంక్షేమానికి అత్యున్నత ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నట్లు డీజీపీ జితేందర్ తెలిపారు. పోలీసు ఉద్యోగులు ఎదుర్కొనే ఒత్తిడిని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని పోలీసు వెల్ఫేర్ సొసైటీతో పాటు భద్రత, ఆరోగ్య భద్రత (ఆరోగ్య రక్షణ) విభాగాల పనితీరును సమీక్షించినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. | Telangana DGP Jitender said the welfare of police personnel remains his highest priority. Keeping in view the stress faced by police personnel, he reviewed the functioning of the Police Welfare Society and the Bhadrata and Arogya Bhadratha (Health Protection) wing.
ప్రతిభ కలిగిన పోలీసు సిబ్బంది పిల్లలకు మరింత స్కాలర్షిప్లు అందించడంతో పాటు JEE, NEET పరీక్షలకు ప్రత్యేక కోచింగ్ సహాయం కల్పించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. వివాహం, వైద్యం, విద్య కోసం మరిన్ని తక్కువ వడ్డీ రుణాలు, కార్పస్ ఇన్సూరెన్స్, గ్రాంట్ ఆధారిత ఆర్థిక సహాయాన్ని కూడా విస్తరించనున్నట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు. | He said meritorious children of police personnel will receive enhanced scholarships and support for JEE and NEET coaching. More low-interest loans for marriage, medical and education needs, along with corpus insurance and grant-based financial assistance, will also be expanded.
ప్రస్తుతం రాష్ట్ర ఉద్యోగుల ఆరోగ్య పథకం (EHS) అమల్లోకి రావడంతో ఆరోగ్య భద్రత పథకం అందులో విలీనం అయిందని తెలిపారు. 2025లో 33,126 మంది లబ్ధిదారులు చికిత్స పొందగా, రూ.181.74 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేసినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. 2026 జూన్ వరకు 12,392 మంది చికిత్స పొందగా, రూ.73.61 కోట్లు వ్యయం చేసినట్లు వివరించారు. | The DGP stated that the Arogya Bhadratha scheme has now been merged into the Employee Health Scheme (EHS). During 2025, 33,126 beneficiaries received treatment with an expenditure of ₹181.74 crore. Up to June 2026, 12,392 beneficiaries availed treatment and ₹73.61 crore was spent.
విధుల్లో మరణించిన పోలీసు సిబ్బంది కుటుంబాలకు గ్రూప్ పర్సనల్ యాక్సిడెంటల్ ఇన్సూరెన్స్ కింద కానిస్టేబుల్ స్థాయి నుంచి ఐపీఎస్ అధికారుల వరకు రూ.5 లక్షల నుంచి రూ.25 లక్షల వరకు బీమా రక్షణ అందిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. కాంటీన్లు, కమర్షియల్ కాంప్లెక్స్ల ద్వారా వచ్చే ఆదాయాన్ని యువ ఐపీఎస్ (YIPS), పిల్లల విద్య, పోటీ పరీక్షల కోచింగ్, వివాహ సహాయ కార్యక్రమాలకు వినియోగించనున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. | Under the Group Personal Accidental Insurance scheme, families of personnel who die while in service receive insurance coverage ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹25 lakh, depending on rank up to IPS officers. Revenue generated from canteens and commercial complexes will be utilised for YIPS, children’s education, competitive exam coaching and marriage assistance.
పోలీసు సంక్షేమ సేవల్లో పారదర్శకత కోసం డీజీపీ కార్యాలయం నుంచి జిల్లా స్థాయి వరకు అన్ని రికార్డులను కంప్యూటరీకరించి రియల్టైమ్ డిజిటల్ వెల్ఫేర్ మేనేజ్మెంట్ వ్యవస్థను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ఆదేశించినట్లు తెలిపారు. ప్రతి అర్హుడికి సంక్షేమ ప్రయోజనాలు న్యాయంగా, పారదర్శకంగా అందేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని చెప్పారు. | To ensure transparency, he directed the creation of a real-time Digital Welfare Management System by computerising welfare records from the DGP office to all district units. He said every eligible employee should receive welfare benefits fairly and transparently.
అర్హులైన పోలీసు సిబ్బందికి గృహ, వ్యక్తిగత, వివాహ, విద్య అవసరాల కోసం రూ.30 లక్షల వరకు తక్కువ వడ్డీ రుణాలను పెంచాలని వెల్ఫేర్ సొసైటీని ఆదేశించినట్లు తెలిపారు. అలాగే 14 సంవత్సరాల తర్వాత పోలీసు సంఘాల ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించాలని ఇప్పటికే ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసినట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు. | The DGP directed the Welfare Society to increase low-interest housing, personal, marriage and education loans up to ₹30 lakh for eligible personnel. He also said association elections have been ordered after a gap of 14 years to ensure democratic functioning.
ఇటీవల జిల్లాల పర్యటనల్లో పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ల నిర్వహణ ఖర్చులు, ఇతర సాధారణ వ్యయాలకు గతంలో నిధులు మంజూరు కాలేదని గుర్తించామని, ఆ బిల్లులను ఆర్థిక శాఖ ద్వారా ఆమోదింపజేసి ఫీల్డ్ స్థాయిలో పనిచేస్తున్న పోలీసు సిబ్బందికి ఊరట కల్పించినట్లు తెలిపారు. పోలీసు సిబ్బంది సంక్షేమమే తన ప్రధాన లక్ష్యమని మరోసారి స్పష్టం చేశారు. | During recent district visits, he found that station maintenance bills and routine expenditure had not been sanctioned earlier. These bills were subsequently cleared through the Finance Department to provide relief to field-level police personnel. He reiterated that the welfare of the entire police force remains his top priority.
