Ganesh Immersion Traffic & RTC Meeting
గణేష్ నిమజ్జన ఊరేగింపుల సందర్భంగా ట్రాఫిక్, ఆర్టీసీ సేవల సమన్వయంపై హైదరాబాద్లో సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. బస్సు సేవలు సజావుగా కొనసాగించడం, బ్రేక్డౌన్లను వెంటనే తొలగించడం, ట్రాఫిక్ మళ్లింపుల వద్ద సిబ్బంది నియామకం వంటి అంశాలపై అధికారులు దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు.
గణేష్ విగ్రహాల ఊరేగింపు రోజుల్లో ట్రాఫిక్, ప్రజా రవాణా నిర్వహణపై హైదరాబాద్ ట్రాఫిక్ కాన్ఫరెన్స్ హాల్లో 2026 సెప్టెంబర్ 10న జాయింట్ కమిషనర్ ఆఫ్ పోలీస్, ట్రాఫిక్ డి. జోయెల్ డేవిస్, IPS, తెలంగాణ ఆర్టీసీ అధికారులు, హైదరాబాద్ ట్రాఫిక్ పోలీస్ ACPలు, DCPలతో సమన్వయ సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు.
గణేష్ నిమజ్జన రోజుల్లో TGRTC, APSRTC, KSRTCతో పాటు నగరంలోని స్థానిక బస్సు సర్వీసులు సజావుగా నడిచేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సమావేశంలో సూచించారు. బస్సులు బ్రేక్డౌన్కు గురైనప్పుడు వాటిని వేగంగా తొలగించేలా ప్రత్యేక ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని, ట్రాఫిక్ కంట్రోల్ రూమ్లో RTC సిబ్బందిని అందుబాటులో ఉంచాలని ఆదేశించారు.
ద్వారక, టెలిఫోన్ భవన్ బస్స్టాప్ల వద్ద ప్రత్యేక ఏర్పాట్లు చేయడంతో పాటు, కీలకమైన ట్రాఫిక్ మళ్లింపు ప్రాంతాల్లో కంట్రోలర్లను నియమించాలని సూచించారు. గత ఏడాది గణేష్ నిమజ్జన సమయంలో ఎదురైన సమస్యలను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుని ముందస్తు చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని అధికారులు నిర్ణయించారు.
The Hyderabad Traffic Police held a coordination meeting on September 10, 2026, to review traffic and public transport arrangements for Ganesh idol procession days. The meeting was chaired by Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, D. Joel Davis, IPS, with officials from Telangana RTC and ACPs and DCPs of Hyderabad Traffic Police.
Officials were directed to ensure smooth operation of TGRTC, APSRTC, KSRTC and local city bus services during the immersion processions. The meeting also stressed prompt clearance of bus breakdowns and deployment of dedicated RTC personnel at the traffic control room.
Special arrangements were reviewed for Dwaraka and Telephone Bhavan bus stops, while controllers were proposed at strategic traffic diversion points. Officials were also asked to take preventive measures based on issues reported during last year’s Ganesh immersion processions to ensure smoother traffic movement and public safety
