ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లోని కడప జిల్లా ప్రొద్దుటూరులో సంచలన హత్య కుట్రను పోలీసులు భగ్నం చేశారు. భర్తను హత్య చేయించేందుకు ప్రియుడితో కలిసి సుపారీ ఇచ్చిన భార్యను పోలీసులు అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు.
లింగాపురం గ్రామానికి చెందిన ఈశ్వరరెడ్డి, శిల్పారెడ్డి దంపతులు 15 ఏళ్ల క్రితం వివాహం చేసుకున్నారు. అయితే గత కొంతకాలంగా వీరి మధ్య కుటుంబ కలహాలు కొనసాగుతున్నట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ సమయంలో ప్రొద్దుటూరు జిల్లా ఆసుపత్రిలో పనిచేస్తున్న నాగ సుధీర్ అనే యువకుడితో శిల్పారెడ్డికి పరిచయం ఏర్పడింది. ఆ పరిచయం క్రమంగా వివాహేతర సంబంధంగా మారిందని విచారణలో బయటపడింది.
ఈ సంబంధం మరింత గాఢం కావడంతో భర్త ఈశ్వరరెడ్డిని హత్య చేయాలని శిల్పారెడ్డి, నాగ సుధీర్ కలిసి కుట్ర పన్నినట్లు పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు. ఇందుకోసం స్థానిక రౌడీషీటర్ వినయ్ సహకారం తీసుకున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
శిల్పారెడ్డి తన వద్ద ఉన్న 14 తులాల బంగారాన్ని ప్రియుడు నాగ సుధీర్కు ఇచ్చి, దానిలో కొంత అమ్మి, కొంత తాకట్టు పెట్టి సుమారు రూ.10 లక్షలు సమకూర్చి సుపారీ ఇచ్చినట్లు సమాచారం.
తర్వాత హిందూపురానికి చెందిన కిరాయి హంతకులకు హత్య బాధ్యత అప్పగించారు. ఈశ్వరరెడ్డి బైక్పై వెళ్తున్న సమయంలో కారుతో ఢీకొట్టి, అనంతరం కత్తులతో దాడి చేయాలని మొదటి ప్లాన్ వేసినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
అది సాధ్యంకాకపోతే పొలంలో పని చేస్తున్న సమయంలో మూకుమ్మడిగా దాడి చేసి హత్య చేయాలని మరో ప్రణాళిక కూడా సిద్ధం చేసినట్లు విచారణలో తెలిసింది.
అయితే హత్యాయత్నం సమయంలో అప్రమత్తమైన ఈశ్వరరెడ్డి అక్కడి నుంచి తప్పించుకుని ప్రొద్దుటూరు వన్టౌన్ పోలీసులను ఆశ్రయించాడు. దీంతో వెంటనే పోలీసులు రంగంలోకి దిగి మొత్తం కుట్రను భగ్నం చేశారు.
ఈ కేసులో శిల్పారెడ్డి, నాగ సుధీర్, రౌడీషీటర్ వినయ్తో పాటు హిందూపురానికి చెందిన కిరాయి హంతకులు సహా మొత్తం 11 మందిని పోలీసులు అదుపులోకి తీసుకుని విచారిస్తున్నారు.

Police in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh foiled a sensational murder conspiracy after a woman allegedly plotted to kill her husband with the help of her lover and a hired supari gang.
The incident was reported from Lingapuram village in Proddatur constituency. Eshwar Reddy and Shilpa Reddy were married nearly 15 years ago, but police said the couple had been facing marital disputes for some time.
During this period, Shilpa Reddy reportedly developed a relationship with Naga Sudheer, who works at the Proddatur district hospital. Investigation revealed that the friendship later turned into an extramarital affair.
Police said the two decided to eliminate Eshwar Reddy so they could continue their relationship without interference. For executing the plan, they allegedly took the help of local rowdy-sheeter Vinay.
According to investigators, Shilpa Reddy gave her 14 tolas of gold to Naga Sudheer. Part of it was sold and part was pledged to arrange nearly Rs 10 lakh as supari money.
Through Vinay, the contract for the murder was handed over to a gang from Hindupur. The first plan was to hit Eshwar Reddy with a car while he was travelling on his bike and then attack him with knives.
If that failed, the second plan was to attack him collectively while he was working in the fields.
However, Eshwar Reddy sensed danger during the murder attempt, escaped safely, and approached Proddatur One Town Police. Acting quickly, police foiled the murder plot.
A total of 11 accused, including Shilpa Reddy, Naga Sudheer, Vinay, and hired killers from Hindupur, have been detained and are being questioned.
