Maoist State Committee Member Samatha Surrenders in Mulugu, Gets ₹20 Lakh Reward
ములుగు: మావోయిస్టు రాష్ట్ర కమిటీ సభ్యురాలు కాకర్ల సమత తెలంగాణ పోలీసుల ఎదుట లొంగిపోయారు. 1985లో పార్టీ సభ్యురాలిగా మావోయిస్టు ఉద్యమంలో చేరిన సమత, 1991లో ఏరియా కమిటీ సభ్యురాలిగా, 1994లో జిల్లా కమిటీ సభ్యురాలిగా ఎదిగి, 2003లో రాష్ట్ర కమిటీలోకి చేరారు. తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ లొంగుబాటు, పునరావాస విధానం కింద ఆమెకు అర్హత ఉన్న మొత్తం రూ.20 లక్షల రివార్డు మొత్తానికి సంబంధించిన చెక్కును అందజేశారు.
మిగిలిన తెలంగాణకు చెందిన ముగ్గురు క్రియాశీల మావోయిస్టు క్యాడర్లు కూడా లొంగిపోయి జనజీవన స్రవంతిలోకి రావాలని, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ పునరావాస విధానం కింద అందించే ప్రయోజనాలు, సహాయాన్ని పొందాలని పోలీసులు పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
In Mulugu, Maoist State Committee member Kakarala Samatha surrendered before the Telangana Police. She joined the organisation as a party member in 1985 and was elevated to Area Committee member in 1991, District Committee member in 1994 and State Committee member in 2003. Under the Telangana Government’s Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy, she was handed a cheque towards her total eligible reward amount of ₹20 lakh.
The police appealed to the remaining three active Maoist cadres from Telangana to surrender, return to the mainstream and avail themselves of the benefits and support available under the state government’s rehabilitation policy.
