తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్రెడ్డి ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్–2026 బెస్ట్ పబ్లిక్ సర్వెంట్ అవార్డును అందుకున్నారు. కేరళలోని నిలంబూర్లో శుక్రవారం జరిగిన కార్యక్రమంలో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కె.సి. వేణుగోపాల్ చేతుల మీదుగా ఆయన ఈ అవార్డును స్వీకరించారు.
దివంగత కేరళ కాంగ్రెస్ నేత ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ స్మారకార్థం ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ ఫౌండేషన్ ఈ అవార్డును ఏర్పాటు చేసింది. తెలంగాణలో రైతులు, వెనుకబడిన వర్గాలు, ఇతర ప్రజల సంక్షేమం కోసం చేపట్టిన కార్యక్రమాలను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుని రేవంత్రెడ్డిని ఈ అవార్డుకు ఎంపిక చేసినట్లు ఫౌండేషన్ ప్రతినిధులు తెలిపారు.
అవార్డు స్వీకరించిన సందర్భంగా రేవంత్రెడ్డి ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ సేవలను గుర్తుచేశారు. ఎనిమిదిసార్లు ఎమ్మెల్యేగా, నాలుగుసార్లు మంత్రిగా ఆయన పనిచేశారని పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రజాస్వామ్యం, లౌకికవాదం, రాజ్యాంగ పరిరక్షణ కోసం ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ పోరాడారని అన్నారు.
కేరళతో తనకు ప్రత్యేక అనుబంధం ఉందని రేవంత్రెడ్డి చెప్పారు. భారత్ జోడో యాత్ర, అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల ప్రచారం సందర్భంగా కేరళకు వచ్చిన విషయాన్ని గుర్తుచేశారు. ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ పేరుతో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన అవార్డును అందుకోవడం గౌరవంగా భావిస్తున్నానని తెలిపారు. ఈ అవార్డుకు కేరళ వెలుపల నుంచి ఎంపికైన తొలి వ్యక్తి తానేనని పేర్కొన్నారు.
కార్యక్రమంలో ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ ఫౌండేషన్ ప్రతినిధులు, కేరళకు చెందిన ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు పాల్గొన్నారు. అవార్డు కార్యక్రమం అనంతరం రేవంత్రెడ్డి జాతీయ రాజకీయాలపై కూడా పలు వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy received the prestigious Aryadan Muhammed-2026 Best Public Servant Award at a programme held in Nilambur, Kerala, on Friday. Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal presented the award to the Telangana Chief Minister.
The award was instituted by the Aryadan Muhammed Foundation in memory of veteran Kerala Congress leader Aryadan Muhammed. The foundation said Revanth Reddy was selected in recognition of initiatives undertaken by his government for farmers, backward classes and other sections of society in Telangana.
Speaking after receiving the award, Revanth Reddy recalled Aryadan Muhammed’s political career. He noted that Aryadan Muhammed had served as an MLA eight times and as a minister in four different Kerala governments. Reddy also referred to his contribution to democracy, secularism and constitutional values.
Revanth Reddy said Kerala had a special place in his political journey and recalled his visits to the State during the Bharat Jodo Yatra and the Assembly election campaign. He described receiving an award instituted in Aryadan Muhammed’s memory as an honour and said he was the first person from outside Kerala to receive the award.
The event was attended by representatives of the Aryadan Muhammed Foundation, public representatives and Congress leaders from Kerala. Revanth Reddy also made several political remarks after receiving the award
