Mother Dies by Suicide After Setting Infant on Fire in Nizamabad
నిజామాబాద్ జిల్లా భీంగల్ మండలంలో విషాద ఘటన చోటుచేసుకుంది. ఏడాది కుమార్తెకు నిప్పంటించిన తల్లి ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంది.
A tragic incident occurred in Nizamabad district where a mother died by suicide after setting her one-year-old daughter on fire.
తెలంగాణలోని నిజామాబాద్ జిల్లా భీంగల్ మండలం బడా భీంగల్ గ్రామంలో హృదయ విదారక ఘటన చోటుచేసుకుంది. కీర్తన (26) అనే మహిళ తన ఏడాది కుమార్తె సాన్వీపై పెట్రోల్ పోసి నిప్పంటించి, అనంతరం తాను కూడా ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంది.
కీర్తనకు నాలుగేళ్ల క్రితం ధర్పల్లి మండలం గోవింద్పల్లి గ్రామానికి చెందిన ప్రదీప్తో వివాహం జరిగింది. ఈ దంపతులకు ఇద్దరు పిల్లలు ఉన్నారు. చిన్న కూతురు సాన్వీ తీవ్ర ఆరోగ్య సమస్యతో బాధపడుతోంది. ఆరు నెలల క్రితం ప్రైవేట్ ఆసుపత్రిలో శస్త్రచికిత్స చేయించినప్పటికీ సమస్య పూర్తిగా తగ్గలేదు.
ఈ పరిస్థితులతో మనస్థాపానికి గురైన కీర్తన బుధవారం సాయంత్రం ఇంట్లో ఎవరూ లేని సమయంలో ఈ ఘటనకు పాల్పడింది. స్థానికులు తలుపులు బద్దలు కొట్టి కీర్తనను జిల్లా ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించగా, అప్పటికే ఆమె మరణించినట్లు వైద్యులు తెలిపారు.
తీవ్రంగా గాయపడిన సాన్వీని హైదరాబాద్కు తరలిస్తుండగా మార్గమధ్యంలో మృతి చెందింది. మృతురాలి భర్త ప్రదీప్ ఉపాధి కోసం గల్ఫ్ దేశాల్లో ఉన్నాడు. ఘటన గురించి తెలుసుకున్న వెంటనే స్వగ్రామానికి చేరుకున్నాడు.
మృతురాలి తల్లి ఫిర్యాదు మేరకు పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టారు. ఈ ఘటన స్థానికంగా విషాదాన్ని మిగిల్చింది.
A heartbreaking incident was reported from Bada Bhingal village in Bhingal mandal of Nizamabad district, Telangana. A woman identified as Keerthana (26) allegedly poured petrol on her one-year-old daughter Sanvi and set her on fire before ending her own life.
Keerthana had married Pradeep from Govindpally village in Dharpally mandal four years ago. The couple had two children. Their younger daughter Sanvi was suffering from a serious health condition. Despite undergoing surgery at a private hospital six months ago, her condition did not improve.
Distressed over her child’s illness, Keerthana reportedly took the extreme step on Wednesday evening when no one was at home. Locals broke open the doors and rushed her to the district hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Sanvi, who suffered severe burns, was being shifted to Hyderabad for treatment but died on the way. Keerthana’s husband, who works in the Gulf, returned to the village after learning about the incident.
Police have registered a case based on a complaint filed by the victim’s mother and are investigating the matter. The incident has left the local community in shock.
