Telangana Dialysis Centres Expansion
తెలంగాణలో కిడ్నీ రోగులకు చికిత్స అందుబాటును పెంచేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా కొత్తగా డయాలసిస్ కేంద్రాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసి సేవలను విస్తరించనుంది.
The Telangana government has taken a key decision to improve access to treatment for kidney patients by expanding dialysis services across the state.
తెలంగాణలో కిడ్నీ వ్యాధిగ్రస్తులకు ఊరట కలిగించేలా వైద్య ఆరోగ్యశాఖ కొత్త చర్యలు ప్రారంభించింది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా మరో 79 డయాలసిస్ కేంద్రాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించింది. ఈ కొత్త కేంద్రాల ద్వారా అదనంగా 416 బెడ్లు అందుబాటులోకి రానున్నాయి.
ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న 67 డయాలసిస్ కేంద్రాల్లో కూడా సేవలను విస్తరించనున్నారు. అదనంగా 155 యంత్రాలను ఏర్పాటు చేసి చికిత్స సామర్థ్యాన్ని పెంచే ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించారు. ఈ చర్యలతో రోగుల నిరీక్షణ సమయం తగ్గి, అత్యవసర పరిస్థితుల్లో త్వరగా చికిత్స అందే అవకాశం ఉంది.
మారుమూల గ్రామాలు, గిరిజన ప్రాంతాల నుంచి వచ్చే రోగులు ఇప్పటివరకు డయాలసిస్ కోసం దూర ప్రాంతాలకు వెళ్లాల్సి వచ్చేది. ఈ సమస్యను తగ్గించేందుకు ప్రతి 25 కిలోమీటర్లకు ఒక కేంద్రం ఉండేలా ప్రభుత్వం ప్రణాళిక సిద్ధం చేసింది.
ఈ డయాలసిస్ కేంద్రాలను పీపీపీ విధానంలో ‘హబ్ అండ్ స్పోక్’ మోడల్లో నిర్వహించనున్నారు. టీజీఎంఎస్ఐడీసీ ద్వారా టెండర్ల ప్రక్రియను వేగంగా పూర్తి చేయాలని అధికారులకు ఆదేశాలు జారీ అయ్యాయి.
ఈ చర్యలతో రాష్ట్రంలో కిడ్నీ రోగులకు సమీప ప్రాంతాల్లోనే చికిత్స అందే అవకాశం పెరుగుతుంది. ఆరోగ్య సేవల విస్తరణతో గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల ప్రజలకు మరింత సౌలభ్యం కలగనుంది.
In a major move to support kidney patients, the Telangana government has announced the establishment of 79 new dialysis centres across the state. These centres are expected to add 416 additional beds, significantly improving treatment capacity.
The government also plans to upgrade existing 67 dialysis centres by adding 155 new machines. This expansion aims to reduce waiting times and ensure faster treatment, especially in emergency cases.
Patients from remote and tribal areas currently travel long distances for dialysis. To address this issue, the government is planning to ensure one dialysis centre for every 25 kilometers.
The new centres will operate under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model using a hub-and-spoke system. Officials have been directed to expedite the tender process through TGMIDC.
With these developments, dialysis services will become more accessible, reducing the burden on patients and improving healthcare delivery across Telangana.
