తెలంగాణలో భానుడి ప్రతాపం రోజురోజుకు పెరుగుతోంది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు 42 డిగ్రీల సెల్సియస్ దాటుతుండటంతో ప్రజలు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. వడగాల్పులు, ఎండ తీవ్రతతో సాధారణ జీవనం దెబ్బతింటోంది.
వాతావరణ శాఖ పలు జిల్లాలకు రెడ్ అలర్ట్, ఆరెంజ్ అలర్ట్ జారీ చేసింది. ముఖ్యంగా ఉత్తర తెలంగాణ జిల్లాల్లో పరిస్థితి మరింత తీవ్రంగా ఉండనుందని హెచ్చరించింది. ఏప్రిల్ 24 నుంచి 29 వరకు కొన్ని జిల్లాల్లో గరిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు 45 డిగ్రీల వరకు నమోదయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపింది.
ఆదిలాబాద్, కొమరం భీమ్ ఆసిఫాబాద్, మంచిర్యాల, జగిత్యాల, నిజామాబాద్, కామారెడ్డి, కరీంనగర్, జయశంకర్ భూపాలపల్లి, భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం, ములుగు, నల్గొండ, ఖమ్మం, సూర్యపేట, గద్వాల్, వనపర్తి జిల్లాలకు రెడ్ అలర్ట్ జారీ చేశారు.
మెదక్, సంగారెడ్డి, వికారాబాద్, మహబూబ్నగర్, నాగర్కర్నూల్, నారాయణపేట జిల్లాలకు ఆరెంజ్ అలర్ట్ ప్రకటించారు. హైదరాబాద్లో కూడా ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు 39 డిగ్రీలకు చేరుకోవడంతో ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు.
బుధవారం రాష్ట్రంలో అత్యధికంగా ఆదిలాబాద్లో 42.8 డిగ్రీల ఉష్ణోగ్రత నమోదైంది. నిజామాబాద్లో 41.8 డిగ్రీలు, రామగుండంలో 41.2 డిగ్రీలు, మహబూబ్నగర్లో 40.6 డిగ్రీలు నమోదయ్యాయి.
ఉదయం 11 గంటల నుంచి సాయంత్రం 4 గంటల వరకు అత్యవసరమైతే తప్ప బయటకు వెళ్లవద్దని వాతావరణ శాఖ సూచించింది. బయటకు వెళ్లాల్సి వస్తే గొడుగు, టోపీ, కళ్లజోడు ధరించాలని తెలిపింది.
రోజంతా తగినంత నీరు తాగడం, కొబ్బరి నీళ్లు, మజ్జిగ, నిమ్మరసం, రాగి అంబలి వంటి ద్రవపదార్థాలు తీసుకోవడం ద్వారా శరీరాన్ని చల్లగా ఉంచుకోవాలని వైద్య నిపుణులు సూచిస్తున్నారు.

Severe heatwave conditions are intensifying across Telangana as maximum temperatures continue to cross 42 degrees Celsius in several districts, causing major discomfort to the public and disrupting daily life.
The India Meteorological Department has issued Red Alert and Orange Alert warnings for multiple districts, warning that temperatures may touch 45 degrees Celsius between April 24 and April 29, especially in North Telangana.
Red Alert has been issued for Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mulugu, Nalgonda, Khammam, Suryapet, Gadwal and Wanaparthy districts.
Orange Alert has been issued for Medak, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool and Narayanpet districts. Hyderabad has also recorded rising temperatures, with the city touching around 39 degrees Celsius.
According to officials, Adilabad recorded the highest temperature at 42.8°C, followed by Nizamabad at 41.8°C and Ramagundam at 41.2°C. Several other districts also crossed the 40-degree mark.
The weather department advised people to avoid going outdoors between 11 AM and 4 PM unless absolutely necessary, as the risk of heatstroke remains high.
Officials also suggested wearing loose cotton clothes, using umbrellas, caps and sunglasses, and keeping the head covered while stepping outside.
Doctors recommend drinking sufficient water throughout the day along with coconut water, buttermilk, lemon juice and traditional cooling drinks to avoid dehydration and protect against heat-related illnesses.
