ఆదిలాబాద్, మామునూరు విమానాశ్రయాల పనులు వేగవంతం చేయాలి: రామ్మోహన్ నాయుడుతో సీఎం రేవంత్ చర్చ
తెలంగాణలో విమాన కనెక్టివిటీని విస్తరించే దిశగా ఆదిలాబాద్, మామునూరు విమానాశ్రయాల అభివృద్ధి పనులను వేగవంతం చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కోరారు. కేంద్ర పౌర విమానయాన శాఖ మంత్రి కింజరాపు రామ్మోహన్ నాయుడుతో ఢిల్లీలో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో విమానాశ్రయాల అభివృద్ధి, కార్గో, ఎంఆర్వో సదుపాయాలు, హెలీ టూరిజం, హుస్సేన్సాగర్లో సీ ప్లేన్ ల్యాండింగ్ అవకాశాలపై చర్చించారు.
మామునూరు విమానాశ్రయానికి అవసరమైన భూసేకరణను పూర్తి చేసి భూమిని అందజేశామని సీఎం తెలిపారు. విమానాశ్రయ పనులను వేగంగా ప్రారంభించి పూర్తి చేయాలని కోరారు. మామునూరు విమానాశ్రయంలో ఎయిర్ కార్గో, మెయింటెనెన్స్, రిపేర్ అండ్ ఓవర్హాలింగ్ (ఎంఆర్వో), హ్యాంగర్ వంటి సదుపాయాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
ఆదిలాబాద్ విమానాశ్రయ అభివృద్ధిపై కూడా సమావేశంలో కీలకంగా చర్చించారు. రన్వే తుది రూపకల్పనకు రక్షణ, పౌర విమానయాన శాఖల మధ్య సంయుక్త సమావేశం నిర్వహించాలని సీఎం కోరారు. ఆదిలాబాద్లో కార్గో, ప్యాసింజర్ టెర్మినల్, ఎంఆర్వో సదుపాయాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ప్రతిపాదించారు. రక్షణ శాఖ ఆధీనంలోని ఎయిర్స్ట్రిప్కు అనుసంధానంగా పౌర విమానాశ్రయాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేసే అంశంపై కేంద్రంతో సమన్వయం కొనసాగుతోంది.
తెలంగాణలో హెలీ టూరిజాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించడం, హైదరాబాద్లోని హుస్సేన్సాగర్ నుంచి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లోని ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజీ వరకు సీ ప్లేన్ సేవల సాధ్యాసాధ్యాలను పరిశీలించడం వంటి అంశాలు కూడా చర్చకు వచ్చాయి. సీ ప్లేన్ ప్రతిపాదనకు సంబంధించి అవసరమైన ప్రతిపాదనలు సమర్పించాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రి సూచించినట్లు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తెలిపింది.
మెరుగైన విమాన కనెక్టివిటీ ద్వారా తెలంగాణలో పెట్టుబడులు, పరిశ్రమలు, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలతో పాటు పర్యాటక రంగానికి కూడా ఊతమివ్వడమే లక్ష్యమని సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రాంతీయ విమాన కనెక్టివిటీని బలోపేతం చేయడం ద్వారా రాష్ట్రంలోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాలను మరింత సమర్థంగా అనుసంధానించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం కృషి చేస్తోందని తెలిపారు.
CM Revanth Reddy discusses Telangana airport development with Ram Mohan Naidu
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy discussed the development of the proposed Adilabad and Mamnoor airports with Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu in New Delhi. The meeting focused on expediting the airport projects and strengthening aviation connectivity across the state.
The Chief Minister informed the Union Minister that the required land acquisition for Mamnoor Airport had been completed and urged the Centre to accelerate the remaining works. He also sought facilities such as air cargo, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and hangars at the airport.
Discussions on Adilabad Airport included finalising the runway through a joint meeting of the Defence and Civil Aviation ministries. Reddy also sought the establishment of a cargo facility, passenger terminal and MRO infrastructure at Adilabad. The proposed civil aviation facilities are being pursued in coordination with the existing defence airstrip.
The meeting also covered the development of heli-tourism in Telangana and the feasibility of seaplane operations from Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad to Prakasam Barrage in Andhra Pradesh. The Civil Aviation Ministry has sought the necessary proposals for examining the seaplane initiative.
The Chief Minister said improved air connectivity would support Telangana’s economic development, tourism, investment and employment opportunities. The state government is seeking closer coordination with the Centre to accelerate regional aviation projects.
