A case has been registered at Keesara Police Station after allegations surfaced that actor Katraj alias Supreeth Reddy assaulted an Uber cab driver in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
According to police information, the incident occurred after driver Srihari completed a trip from Vanasthalipuram to Kundanpally and was waiting for another booking near Sai Baba Temple in Nagaram.
At that time, actor Supreeth Reddy allegedly entered into an argument with the driver. The verbal altercation reportedly escalated, leading to a physical assault, according to the complaint filed by the victim.
The complainant further alleged that his mobile phone was forcibly taken during the confrontation. Local residents intervened and managed to calm the situation. The phone was later returned, police sources said.
