TG Organics App Launched to Connect Farmers and Consumers in Telangana

తెలంగాణలో ఆర్గానిక్ వ్యవసాయాన్ని ప్రోత్సహిస్తూ రైతులను నేరుగా వినియోగదారులతో కలిపే కొత్త డిజిటల్ వేదికగా “టీజీ ఆర్గానిక్స్” మొబైల్ యాప్ను రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రారంభించేందుకు సిద్ధమైంది. ఈ యాప్ను వ్యవసాయ మంత్రి Tummala Nageswara Rao మే 4న వికార్బాద్ జిల్లా తాండూర్లో ప్రారంభించనున్నారు.
ఈ యాప్ ద్వారా తెలంగాణ స్టేట్ సీడ్ అండ్ ఆర్గానిక్ సర్టిఫికేషన్ అథారిటీ (TSSOCA) ద్వారా ధృవీకరించబడిన రైతులు తమ ఉత్పత్తులను నేరుగా వినియోగదారులకు విక్రయించవచ్చు. మధ్యవర్తుల అవసరం లేకుండా రైతులకు సరైన ధర లభించేలా ప్రభుత్వం ఈ వేదికను రూపొందించింది. వినియోగదారులు కూడా నాణ్యమైన, నిజమైన ఆర్గానిక్ ఉత్పత్తులను సులభంగా పొందే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది.
ప్రస్తుతం ఈ యాప్లో సుమారు 500 మంది రైతులు నమోదు కాగా, 100కు పైగా ఆర్గానిక్ ఉత్పత్తులు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి. వినియోగదారులు తమకు సమీపంలోని రైతులను గుర్తించడానికి 50 కిలోమీటర్ల పరిధిలో సెర్చ్ చేసుకునే సౌకర్యం కల్పించారు. రైతుల మొబైల్ నంబర్లు, చిరునామాలు, లొకేషన్ వివరాలు కూడా యాప్లో అందుబాటులో ఉంటాయి.
నకిలీ ఆర్గానిక్ ఉత్పత్తుల విక్రయాన్ని నియంత్రించడం ఈ యాప్ ప్రధాన లక్ష్యాలలో ఒకటి. ధృవీకరించబడిన రైతుల ద్వారా మాత్రమే ఉత్పత్తులు విక్రయించబడటంతో వినియోగదారుల నమ్మకాన్ని పెంచడం ప్రభుత్వం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా తెలంగాణలో ఆర్గానిక్ వ్యవసాయాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించడంతో పాటు రైతుల ఆదాయాన్ని పెంచడం, గ్రామీణ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థను బలోపేతం చేయడం సాధ్యమవుతుందని అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు.

The Telangana government is set to launch the “TG Organics” mobile application, a major digital initiative aimed at directly connecting farmers with consumers and promoting organic agriculture in the state. The app will be officially launched on May 4 in Tandur, Vikarabad district, by Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao.
The platform enables farmers certified by the Telangana State Seed and Organic Certification Authority (TSSOCA) to sell their produce directly to consumers, eliminating intermediaries and ensuring better price realization for farmers. At the same time, consumers gain access to authentic and verified organic products.
Currently, around 500 farmers are registered on the platform, offering more than 100 organic products. The app allows users to search for nearby farmers within a 50-km radius and directly contact them using details such as phone numbers, addresses, and location data.
One of the key objectives of the initiative is to curb the sale of counterfeit organic products by ensuring that only certified farmers are listed on the platform. This is expected to build consumer trust and promote transparency in the organic food market.
Officials believe the TG Organics app will not only boost organic farming in Telangana but also strengthen the rural economy by increasing farmer incomes and improving market access.
