Tamil Nadu Expands Ayushman Arogya Shivirs Under TB-Mukt Bharat Campaign

టిబి రహిత భారత్ లక్ష్య సాధనలో భాగంగా తమిళనాడు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఆయుష్మాన్ ఆరోగ్య శిబిరాలను నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. నిక్షయ్ వాహనాల ద్వారా గ్రామాలు, పట్టణ ప్రాంతాలకు నేరుగా చేరుకుని ప్రజలకు ఆరోగ్య సేవలు అందిస్తున్నారు.
ఈ శిబిరాల్లో క్షయవ్యాధిపై అవగాహన కల్పించడంతో పాటు ఉచిత టిబి స్క్రీనింగ్ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. అలాగే రక్తంలో చక్కెర స్థాయిలు, హీమోగ్లోబిన్, రక్తపోటు (బీపీ), శరీర ద్రవ్యరాశి సూచీ (BMI) వంటి ఆరోగ్య పరీక్షలను ఉచితంగా అందిస్తున్నారు.
ప్రజలు టిబి రహిత భారత ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేయడంతో పాటు వ్యాధి నివారణ చర్యలపై అవగాహన పొందుతున్నారు. క్షయవ్యాధి బాధితులకు అవసరమైన పోషకాహార, సామాజిక మరియు ఆరోగ్య సహాయాన్ని అందించేందుకు నిక్షయ్ మిత్రల ద్వారా ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమాలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి.
ప్రజలకు ఇంటి వద్దకే ఆరోగ్య సేవలు చేరేలా ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ముందస్తు నిర్ధారణ, అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాలు మరియు కమ్యూనిటీ భాగస్వామ్యంతో టిబి నిర్మూలన లక్ష్యాన్ని సాధించేందుకు కృషి జరుగుతోందన్నారు.

Ayushman Arogya Shivirs are being organized across Tamil Nadu under the TB-Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan to strengthen community healthcare services and accelerate efforts toward tuberculosis elimination.
Through Ni-kshay Vahans, healthcare teams are reaching communities directly and providing a range of essential health services. The camps focus on spreading awareness about tuberculosis while offering free TB screening to help identify cases at an early stage.
In addition to TB screening, participants are provided with free health check-ups, including blood sugar testing, haemoglobin assessment, blood pressure monitoring, and Body Mass Index (BMI) evaluation. These services aim to promote preventive healthcare and early detection of health conditions.
As part of the campaign, citizens are encouraged to take the TB-Free India Pledge and actively support the national mission to eliminate tuberculosis. Efforts are also being strengthened through Ni-kshay Mitras, who assist TB patients with nutritional, social, and healthcare support.
Officials said the initiative is helping bring healthcare services closer to people’s doorsteps, especially in underserved areas. The campaign reflects the government’s commitment to preventive healthcare, community participation, and universal access to health services.
