ములుగు: తెలంగాణలో గ్రామీణ రహదారుల అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ములుగు జిల్లా కేంద్రంగా శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. ములుగులో గ్రామీణ రహదారుల అభివృద్ధికి సంబంధించిన పైలాన్ను ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆవిష్కరించారు. గ్రామాలను మండల కేంద్రాలు, జిల్లా కేంద్రాలు, ప్రధాన రాష్ట్ర రహదారులతో అనుసంధానించే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని చేపట్టారు.
రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 2,145 గ్రామీణ రహదారులను అభివృద్ధి చేయడం ఈ ప్రణాళికలో భాగంగా ఉంది. మొత్తం 7,448 కిలోమీటర్ల మేర రహదారులను అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి ప్రభుత్వం ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించింది. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు అంచనా వ్యయం రూ.16,007 కోట్లుగా ఉంది.
ములుగు జిల్లా గట్టమ్మ ఆలయం ఎదురుగా పంచాయతీరాజ్ శాఖ ఇంజనీరింగ్ విభాగం ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్మించిన హ్యామ్ రోడ్ల పైలాన్ను రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆవిష్కరించారు. గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో రవాణా సౌకర్యాలను మెరుగుపరచడం, ప్రజలకు మండల, జిల్లా కేంద్రాలకు సులభమైన అనుసంధానం కల్పించడం ఈ కార్యక్రమం ప్రధాన ఉద్దేశం.
ప్రత్యేకంగా గిరిజన, ఏజెన్సీ ప్రాంతాల్లో రహదారి కనెక్టివిటీ మెరుగుపడితే విద్య, వైద్యం, వ్యవసాయం, ఉపాధి రంగాలకు ప్రయోజనం కలుగుతుందని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది. ములుగు పర్యటనలో భాగంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి పలు అభివృద్ధి, సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పంచాయతీరాజ్ శాఖ మంత్రి దనసరి సీతక్క, మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు. ములుగులో గ్రామీణ రహదారుల కార్యక్రమానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టడం ద్వారా రాష్ట్రంలోని గ్రామీణ మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధికి ప్రభుత్వం ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నట్లు స్పష్టమైంది.

Mulugu: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched a major rural roads development programme in Mulugu district, marking the beginning of a statewide initiative aimed at improving connectivity between villages, mandal headquarters, district centres and major state highways.
The Chief Minister unveiled a pylon at Mulugu to mark the launch of the rural roads programme. The initiative covers 2,145 rural roads across Telangana, with a planned development of 7,448 kilometres of roads. The project has an estimated cost of Rs 16,007 crore.
The HAM roads pylon constructed by the Panchayat Raj Engineering Department opposite the Gattamma temple in Mulugu was unveiled by Revanth Reddy as part of the programme.
The initiative is expected to improve road connectivity in rural and tribal areas and provide easier access to mandal and district headquarters. Better connectivity is also expected to support agriculture, healthcare, education and employment in remote areas.
The Mulugu programme comes as part of the Chief Minister’s development-focused visit to the erstwhile Warangal region. Revanth Reddy also participated in other development and welfare programmes during his visit.
Panchayat Raj Minister Danasari Seethakka, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, elected representatives and senior officials attended the programme.
The rural roads initiative is expected to strengthen last-mile connectivity across Telangana and improve access to essential services for people living in villages and agency areas.
