హైదరాబాద్లోని సనత్నగర్లో డాక్టర్ మర్రి చెన్నారెడ్డి తెలంగాణ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ మెడికల్ సైన్సెస్ (డాక్టర్ ఎంసీఆర్ టిమ్స్)ను ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి సోమవారం సాయంత్రం 4.30 గంటలకు ప్రారంభించనున్నారు. ఆరోగ్యశాఖ మంత్రి దామోదర్ రాజనర్సింహతో కలిసి ఆయన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొననున్నారు.
తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ ప్రజారోగ్య మౌలిక వసతుల్లో డాక్టర్ ఎంసీఆర్ టిమ్స్ కీలకమైన సంస్థగా నిలవనుంది. అధునాతన, సూపర్ స్పెషాలిటీ వైద్య సేవలను ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావడమే దీని ప్రధాన లక్ష్యంగా ప్రభుత్వం పేర్కొంది.
సనత్నగర్లోని ఈ ఆసుపత్రిలో 1,082 పడకల సామర్థ్యం ఉంది. ఇందులో 300 ఐసీయూ పడకలు, 88 అత్యవసర పడకలు, 30 డయాలసిస్ పడకలు, 400 సాధారణ పడకలు ఉన్నాయి. గుండె, మూత్రపిండాలు, అవయవ మార్పిడి, ట్రామా తదితర విభాగాల్లో ప్రత్యేక వైద్య సేవలను అందించేందుకు దీనిని అభివృద్ధి చేశారు.
కార్డియాలజీ, కార్డియోథొరాసిక్ సర్జరీ, నెఫ్రాలజీ, యూరాలజీ, న్యూరాలజీ, న్యూరోసర్జరీ, ఆంకాలజీ, ఆర్థోపెడిక్స్ సహా పలు సూపర్ స్పెషాలిటీ విభాగాలు అందుబాటులో ఉండనున్నాయి. ఆసుపత్రిలో 37 విభాగాలు, 15 ప్రధాన ఆపరేషన్ థియేటర్లు, క్యాథ్ ల్యాబ్లు, పీఈటీ-సీటీ, లీనాక్, బ్రాకీథెరపీ వంటి ఆధునిక సదుపాయాలు ఉన్నట్లు సమాచారం.
డాక్టర్ ఎంసీఆర్ టిమ్స్ ప్రారంభంతో తెలంగాణలో ప్రభుత్వ ఆధ్వర్యంలోని అధునాతన వైద్య సేవలకు మరింత బలం చేకూరనుంది. ఖరీదైన సూపర్ స్పెషాలిటీ చికిత్సలను ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావడంలో ఈ సంస్థ కీలక పాత్ర పోషించనుంది.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the Dr Marri Channa Reddy Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (Dr MCR TIMS) at Sanathnagar in Hyderabad at 4:30 PM today. Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha will accompany the Chief Minister at the inauguration.
Dr MCR TIMS is a major addition to Telangana’s public healthcare infrastructure and is designed to expand access to advanced super-speciality medical services through the government health system.
The Sanathnagar facility has a capacity of 1,082 beds, including 300 ICU beds, 88 emergency beds, 30 dialysis beds and 400 general beds. It has been developed as a Centre of Excellence in cardiac, renal, transplant and trauma sciences.
The hospital will provide specialised services in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, nephrology, urology, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopaedics and other major medical disciplines. The facility includes 37 departments, 15 major operation theatres, cath labs, PET-CT, LINAC and brachytherapy facilities.
The inauguration of Dr MCR TIMS is expected to strengthen Telangana’s public healthcare network and provide people with access to advanced super-speciality treatment at a government healthcare institution.
