వారు ఇతరులను అప్రమత్తం చేసి, కలిసి చిన్నారిని రక్షించి నిందితుడిని అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. అనంతరం డయల్ 100కు సమాచారం అందించడంతో పోలీసులు ఘటనాస్థలానికి చేరుకుని నిందితుడిని అరెస్టు చేశారు.
ఈ ఘటనపై పోలీసులు పోక్సో చట్టం కింద కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు ప్రారంభించారు. చిన్నారి సురక్షితంగా కుటుంబ సభ్యుల వద్దకు చేరినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.

A nine-year-old girl was rescued in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills after alert citizens intervened and foiled an attempted sexual assault near Road No. 10.
According to police information, the accused allegedly lured the minor and attempted to behave inappropriately with her in the area. The situation was noticed by two local residents who found the behaviour suspicious and immediately stepped in.
They alerted others nearby and, together, managed to rescue the child and restrain the accused. The police were informed through Dial 100 and arrived shortly after, taking the accused into custody.
A case has been registered under relevant sections, including the POCSO Act, and an investigation is currently underway. Officials confirmed that the girl is safe and has been reunited with her family.
While the incident has raised concerns over child safety in a prime area like Jubilee Hills, police said the timely intervention by citizens prevented a serious crime from escalating.
