తన కుమారుడిని రక్షించేందుకు ప్రయత్నించిన జిలానీ కారు బానెట్ను పట్టుకోగా, డ్రైవర్ ఆపకుండా వేగంగా వాహనాన్ని నడిపాడు. దీంతో ఆయనను సుమారు 2 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరం ఈడ్చుకెళ్లినట్టు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ ఘటనను గమనించిన స్థానికులు వెంటనే స్పందించి వాహనాన్ని ఆపారు. ఘటనలో కుమారుడు తీవ్రంగా గాయపడి ఎముకలు విరిగినట్లు సమాచారం.

A shocking road rage incident in Hyderabad has raised serious concerns over public safety after a 60-year-old man was dragged for nearly 2 kilometres on the bonnet of a moving car in Meerpet’s Gayatri Nagar area.
According to police, the victim, SK Jilani, was travelling on a scooter along with his son when a minor argument broke out with a car driver during a U-turn. The situation quickly escalated into violence.
The accused allegedly assaulted the son and forcibly pulled him into the car. When Jilani tried to intervene, he clung to the bonnet in an attempt to stop the vehicle. However, the driver continued to drive at high speed, dragging him for nearly 2 kilometres.
Local residents who witnessed the horrifying incident intervened and managed to stop the vehicle. The victim’s son sustained serious injuries, including fractures.
Police have registered a case under multiple sections and launched a manhunt to trace the accused, who is currently absconding.
