తెలంగాణ ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్ర ఉద్యమ సమయంలో అదృశ్యమైన జయశంకర్ భూపాలపల్లి జిల్లాకు చెందిన మండల రాజు కుటుంబానికి రూ.5 లక్షల ఆర్థిక సాయం అందించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. మానవతా దృక్పథంతో ఈ సాయం మంజూరు చేయాలని సీఎం సూచించారు.
భూపాలపల్లి నియోజకవర్గానికి చెందిన మండల సమ్మి రెడ్డి కుమారుడు మండల రాజు (34) 2013 జూన్ 20న తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమ సమయంలో అదృశ్యమయ్యారు. తెలంగాణ ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్ర ఉద్యమంలో మండల రాజు చురుకుగా పాల్గొన్నారని భూపాలపల్లి ఎమ్మెల్యే గండ్ర సత్యనారాయణ రావు ముఖ్యమంత్రికి చేసిన విజ్ఞప్తిలో పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఉద్యమ సమయంలో మండల రాజును అరెస్టు చేసి చర్లపల్లి కేంద్ర కారాగారంలో నిర్బంధించారని, అనంతరం ఆయన అదృశ్యమయ్యారని ఎమ్మెల్యే వివరించారు. మండల రాజు తన వృద్ధ తల్లిదండ్రులకు ఏకైక కుమారుడని, ప్రస్తుతం వారు తీవ్ర ఆర్థిక ఇబ్బందులను ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారని తెలిపారు.
రోజువారీ జీవనోపాధికి తగిన ఆధారం లేక ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్న మండల రాజు తల్లిదండ్రులకు తెలంగాణ అమరవీరుల కోటా కింద మానవతా దృక్పథంతో ఆర్థిక సాయం అందించాలని ఎమ్మెల్యే కోరారు.
ఈ విజ్ఞప్తికి స్పందించిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి, జయశంకర్ భూపాలపల్లి జిల్లా గొర్లవీడు గ్రామానికి చెందిన మండల సమ్మి రెడ్డికి రూ.5 లక్షల ఆర్థిక సాయం మంజూరు చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the family of Mandala Raju, who went missing during the Telangana statehood movement.
Mandala Raju, 34, was the son of Mandala Sammi Reddy of Gorla Veedu village in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district. According to the representation made by Bhupalpally MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, Raju went missing on June 20, 2013, during the Telangana statehood movement.
The MLA stated that Mandala Raju had actively participated in the Telangana movement. He was reportedly arrested during the movement and lodged in Cherlapally Central Jail, after which he went missing.
The MLA also informed the Chief Minister that Raju was the only son of his elderly parents. The family is currently facing serious financial difficulties and has no adequate source of livelihood to meet their daily needs.
Gandra Satyanarayana Rao requested financial assistance for Raju’s parents under the Telangana martyrs’ quota on humanitarian grounds.
Responding to the request, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed officials to sanction Rs 5 lakh to Mandala Sammi Reddy of Gorla Veedu village in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
