మెగా ప్రిన్స్ వరుణ్ తేజ్ నటించిన ‘కొరియన్ కనకరాజు’ చిత్రం బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద మంచి ఓపెనింగ్ సాధించింది. ఆగస్టు 7న విడుదలైన ఈ సినిమా ప్రీమియర్లతో కలిపి తొలి రోజే ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా రూ.10.20 కోట్లకు పైగా గ్రాస్ వసూళ్లు సాధించినట్లు చిత్ర బృందం ప్రకటించింది.
మేర్లపాక గాంధీ దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కిన ‘కొరియన్ కనకరాజు’లో రితికా నాయక్ కథానాయికగా నటించారు. యూవీ క్రియేషన్స్ నిర్మించిన ఈ చిత్రం హారర్-కామెడీ నేపథ్యంలో రూపొందింది. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా విడుదలైన ఈ సినిమాకు తొలి ఆట నుంచే పాజిటివ్ టాక్ వచ్చినట్లు చిత్ర పరిశ్రమ వర్గాలు తెలిపాయి.

Mega Prince Varun Tej-starrer ‘Korean Kanakaraju’ has opened on a strong note at the box office. The film collected more than Rs 10.20 crore gross worldwide on its opening day, including premieres, according to the makers.
Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the horror-comedy stars Ritika Nayak as the female lead. Produced by UV Creations, the film was released worldwide on August 7 and received a positive response from the first shows, according to industry sources.
The film’s team announced the Day 1 worldwide gross of over Rs 10.20 crore through a social media post. It also claimed that the film has recorded the highest opening-day gross of Varun Tej’s career.
With Saturday and Sunday falling on the opening weekend, the film is expected to see stronger collections over the next two days. The weekend performance will depend on audience response and theatre occupancy.
