Konda Narasimha Reddy on Thursday assumed charge as the new Circle Inspector (CI) of Shamirpet Police Station in Medchal-Malkajgiri district. His appointment comes as part of the latest transfer exercise undertaken by the police department.
Prior to this posting, Konda Narasimha Reddy was serving as an Inspector in the Cyber Crime Wing of the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate. Known for his experience in handling cybercrime investigations, he has now been entrusted with law and order responsibilities in Shamirpet.
Meanwhile, Srinath, who served as the Shamirpet CI until now, has reportedly been transferred to the Cyber Crime Wing under the Rachakonda Commissionerate. The transfers are understood to be part of the routine administrative reshuffle within the department.
Sources indicate that while a large-scale transfer list involving police officers has already been prepared, the government is reviewing the proposals once again. The review is said to be aimed at ensuring transparency and providing appropriate consideration based on service records and administrative requirements before issuing the final orders.
