హైదరాబాద్‌లోని ఖైరతాబాద్ గణేశ్ ఉత్సవ కమిటీ ఈ ఏడాది ప్రతిష్ఠించనున్న మహా గణేశుడి విగ్రహానికి సంబంధించిన వివరాలను ప్రకటించింది. ఈసారి 69 అడుగుల ఎత్తుతో పంచముఖ సంకటహర మహా గణపతి విగ్రహాన్ని ప్రతిష్ఠించనున్నట్లు కమిటీ వెల్లడించింది.

విగ్రహ నిర్మాణ పనుల్లో తెలంగాణతో పాటు ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి వచ్చిన సుమారు 150 మంది శిల్పులు పాల్గొంటున్నారు. దాదాపు 80 రోజుల పాటు నిరంతరంగా శ్రమించి విగ్రహ నిర్మాణాన్ని పూర్తి చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నారు.

ఈ మహా గణేశుడి విగ్రహ నిర్మాణానికి రూ.1 కోట్లకు పైగా వ్యయం అవుతుందని ఉత్సవ కమిటీ తెలిపింది. ప్రతి ఏడాది మాదిరిగానే ఈసారి కూడా భక్తులను ఆకట్టుకునేలా సంప్రదాయం, ఆధ్యాత్మికత, కళాత్మకత కలగలిపిన ప్రత్యేక రూపకల్పనతో విగ్రహాన్ని రూపొందిస్తున్నారు.

ఖైరతాబాద్ గణేశ్ ఉత్సవం తెలంగాణతో పాటు దేశవ్యాప్తంగా విశేష గుర్తింపు పొందింది. వినాయక చవితి సందర్భంగా లక్షలాది మంది భక్తులు దర్శనానికి తరలివస్తుండటంతో భద్రత, ట్రాఫిక్, ఇతర ఏర్పాట్లపై అధికారులు ముందస్తు ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నారు.

The Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav Committee has announced that this year’s Ganesh idol in Hyderabad will be a 69-foot-tall Panchamukha Sankatahara Maha Ganapati, continuing the tradition of installing one of the country’s tallest Ganesh idols.

Around 150 artisans from different states are engaged in the construction of the massive idol. The committee expects the work to be completed in approximately 80 days ahead of the Ganesh festival.

According to the organisers, the project is estimated to cost more than ₹1 crore. The idol is being designed with a unique spiritual theme while maintaining the grandeur for which the Khairatabad Ganesh celebrations are widely known.

Every year, the Khairatabad Ganesh festival attracts lakhs of devotees from Telangana and across India. Authorities are expected to make elaborate arrangements for security, traffic management, and crowd control during the festival.
