పోలీసులు తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం, ఈ మోసానికి సంబంధించిన కార్యకలాపాల్లో నిందితులు సుమారు 70 మ్యూల్ బ్యాంకు ఖాతాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయడంలో లేదా వాటిని అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావడంలో సహకరించినట్లు ఆరోపణలు ఉన్నాయి. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా జరిగినట్లు అనుమానిస్తున్న సైబర్ మోసాల లావాదేవీల విలువ రూ.60 కోట్ల నుంచి రూ.70 కోట్ల వరకు ఉండవచ్చని ప్రాథమిక సమాచారం సూచిస్తోంది.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Cybercrime Police have arrested two accused in an alleged old currency note scam in which a victim was cheated of ₹7.93 lakh, according to information shared by Hyderabad City Police.
Investigators allege that the accused facilitated around 70 mule bank accounts linked to suspected cyber fraud transactions across India. The suspected transactions associated with these accounts are estimated to be worth between ₹60 crore and ₹70 crore.
Police seized two mobile phones from the accused. Further investigation is required to establish the precise role of the accused, the extent of the alleged fraud network and the connection between the bank accounts and individual cybercrime cases.
