భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ (ఐఎండీ) హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో గురువారం తేలికపాటి వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపింది. నగరంలోని పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో రోజంతా మేఘావృత వాతావరణం కొనసాగడంతో పాటు, అక్కడక్కడా ఉరుములు, మెరుపులతో కూడిన జల్లులు పడే అవకాశం ఉందని అంచనా వేసింది.
ఐఎండీ ప్రకారం, నగరంలో గాలులు గంటకు 30–40 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో వీచే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఉరుములు, మెరుపుల నేపథ్యంలో ప్రజలు అవసరం లేని ప్రయాణాలను తగ్గించాలని, బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాల్లో జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు.
వర్షాల కారణంగా సాయంత్రం వేళల్లో నగరంలోని కొన్ని ప్రధాన రహదారులపై ట్రాఫిక్ మందగించే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు. లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాల్లో స్వల్ప నీటిముగ్గు ఏర్పడే అవకాశముండటంతో వాహనదారులు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain and generally cloudy skies across Hyderabad on Thursday. Isolated parts of the city may experience brief spells of rain accompanied by thunderstorms during the day.
According to the IMD, gusty winds of around 30–40 kmph and lightning are also possible in isolated areas. Residents have been advised to remain cautious during thunderstorms and avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure when lightning is reported.
