పోలీసుల వివరాల ప్రకారం, 19 ఏళ్ల యువతి జూనియర్ ఆర్టిస్టుగా పని చేస్తూ నగరంలోని ఫుట్పాత్ ప్రాంతంలో నివసిస్తున్నట్లు సమాచారం. ఆమెకు సినిమా అవకాశాలు కల్పిస్తామని నమ్మబలికి ఇద్దరు వ్యక్తులు మే 14న సికింద్రాబాద్లోని అద్దె గదికి తీసుకెళ్లినట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
అక్కడ రెండు రోజుల పాటు యువతిపై లైంగిక దాడి జరిగినట్లు విచారణలో వెల్లడైంది. అనంతరం మే 16న ఆమెను బయటకు పంపించినట్లు పోలీసులు పేర్కొన్నారు.
యువతి శారీరకంగా గాయపడిన విషయాన్ని గుర్తించిన స్నేహితురాలు ఆమెను గాంధీ ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించింది. వైద్య సిబ్బంది సమాచారంతో పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేశారు.
జూబ్లీహిల్స్ పోలీసులు అత్యాచార కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టగా, మంగళవారం రాత్రి ఇద్దరు నిందితులను అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. కేసుకు సంబంధించిన పూర్తి వివరాలపై ఇంకా విచారణ కొనసాగుతోంది.

Hyderabad police arrested two men accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman after allegedly luring her with false promises of film opportunities in the city.
According to investigators, the victim reportedly worked as a junior artist and was living on a footpath in Hyderabad. Police said the accused approached her with offers of film-related work and took her to a rented room in Secunderabad on May 14.
Officials stated that the woman was allegedly assaulted for nearly two days before being sent away on May 16. The case came to light after a friend noticed injuries on the victim and shifted her to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
Medical staff reportedly alerted police after learning about the alleged assault. Following the complaint and preliminary inquiry, Jubilee Hills police registered a rape case and launched an investigation.
Police tracked down and arrested both accused persons on Tuesday night. Officials said further questioning is underway to determine the complete sequence of events and whether additional individuals were involved.
The incident has once again raised concerns about the exploitation of vulnerable young women seeking employment opportunities in Hyderabad’s entertainment sector.
