హైదరాబాద్ కోర్ అర్బన్ ఏరియా (CURE) పరిధిలో నిర్మించే ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు జనావాసాలకు సమీపంలోనే ఉండేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఔటర్ రింగ్ రోడ్ (ORR) లోపల వివిధ ప్రభుత్వ శాఖలకు చెందిన నిరుపయోగ భూములను గుర్తించి, గృహ నిర్మాణానికి వినియోగించే అవకాశాలను పరిశీలించాలని సూచించారు.
ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లపై నిర్వహించిన సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో ఇప్పటికే పలు నియోజకవర్గాల్లో గుర్తించిన ప్రభుత్వ స్థలాల వివరాలను అధికారులు ముఖ్యమంత్రికి వివరించారు. పోలీసు, రెవెన్యూ, రవాణా శాఖలకు చెందిన వినియోగంలో లేని భూములను గృహ నిర్మాణానికి ఉపయోగించి, సంబంధిత శాఖలకు ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా ఇతర ప్రాంతాల్లో భూములను కేటాయించాలని ఆదేశించారు.
జనావాసాలకు దూరంగా గృహాలు నిర్మిస్తే ఉపాధి, ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలకు ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తే అవకాశం ఉందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. అందువల్ల పనిస్థలాలకు సమీపంలోనే ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లను నిర్మించాలని సూచించారు. దీనివల్ల లబ్ధిదారులు జీవనోపాధిని కోల్పోకుండా ఉంటారని పేర్కొన్నారు.
క్యూర్ పరిధిలోని పలు నియోజకవర్గాల్లో నిరుపేదల కోసం ఒక్కో ఫ్లాట్ను 528 చదరపు అడుగుల విస్తీర్ణంతో, 400 చదరపు అడుగుల కార్పెట్ ఏరియాతో నిర్మించనున్నారు. ఒక్కో ఇంటి నిర్మాణానికి సుమారు రూ.11 లక్షలు ఖర్చవుతుండగా, ప్రభుత్వం రూ.5 లక్షల సబ్సిడీ అందించనుంది. మిగిలిన రూ.6 లక్షలను లబ్ధిదారులు చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. భూమి వ్యయాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తిగా భరిస్తుంది.
తొలి దశలో 17 నియోజకవర్గాల్లో మొత్తం 7,680 ఫ్లాట్ల నిర్మాణానికి ప్రభుత్వం ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందిస్తోంది. రాజేంద్రనగర్, మహేశ్వరం, శేరిలింగంపల్లి, ఇబ్రహీంపట్నం, మల్కాజ్గిరి, నాంపల్లి, ఖైరతాబాద్, జూబ్లీహిల్స్, కార్వాన్, బహదూర్పురా, అంబర్పేట్, కూకట్పల్లి, మేడ్చల్, కుత్బుల్లాపూర్, సనత్నగర్, సికింద్రాబాద్ కంటోన్మెంట్, మలక్పేట్ నియోజకవర్గాల్లో ఈ గృహాలు నిర్మించనున్నారు.
ఈ నియోజకవర్గాల్లో నిరుపయోగ ప్రభుత్వ భూముల గుర్తింపు ప్రక్రియను వేగవంతం చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed officials to ensure that Indiramma houses under the Hyderabad Core Urban Area (CURE) project are constructed within inhabited localities. He asked officials to identify unused government land within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) for the housing project.
During a review meeting on the Indiramma Housing Scheme, officials briefed the Chief Minister on government land already identified in several constituencies. He instructed departments to utilize unused land belonging to the Police, Revenue and Transport departments for housing while allocating alternative land to those departments where necessary.
The Chief Minister observed that constructing houses far from residential areas could affect employment and livelihood opportunities for beneficiaries. He stressed that housing should be developed close to workplaces and populated areas to ensure better living conditions.
Under the CURE project, each flat will have a built-up area of around 528 square feet with a carpet area of 400 square feet. The construction cost of each unit is estimated at ₹11 lakh, of which the government will provide a subsidy of ₹5 lakh. Beneficiaries will contribute the remaining ₹6 lakh, while the government will bear the entire land cost.
In the first phase, the government plans to construct 7,680 flats across 17 Assembly constituencies, including Rajendranagar, Maheshwaram, Serilingampally, Ibrahimpatnam, Malkajgiri, Nampally, Khairatabad, Jubilee Hills, Karwan, Bahadurpura, Amberpet, Kukatpally, Medchal, Quthbullapur, Sanathnagar, Secunderabad Cantonment and Malakpet.
The Chief Minister also directed officials to expedite the identification of unused government land in these constituencies to ensure timely implementation of the housing project.
