Grand May Day Celebrations Held at Hakimpet RTC Depot in Telangana

మెడ్చల్–మల్కాజిగిరి జిల్లా శామీర్పేట్ మండలంలోని హకీంపేట ఆర్టీసీ డిపోలో మే డే వేడుకలు ఘనంగా నిర్వహించబడ్డాయి. కార్మికులు ఎంతో ఉత్సాహంగా పాల్గొని ఈ వేడుకలను జరుపుకున్నారు.
రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వంతో ఆర్టీసీ జేఏసీ మధ్య జరిగిన చర్చలు విజయవంతం కావడంతో ఈసారి మే డే సంబరాలు మరింత ఉత్సాహంగా జరిగాయి. ముఖ్యంగా ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న కీలక నిర్ణయాలపై కార్మికులు సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
ఈ చర్చల్లో ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, రవాణా శాఖ మంత్రి Ponnam Prabhakar, ఐటీ మరియు పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి Duddilla Sridhar Babu, కార్మిక శాఖ మంత్రి Gaddam Vivek, ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, మైనారిటీ సంక్షేమ శాఖ మంత్రి Adluri Laxman Kumar పాల్గొన్నారు.
ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించిన 11 శాతం పీఆర్సీ అమలు, ఆర్టీసీని ప్రభుత్వంలో విలీనం చేయడం, సంఘాల ఎన్నికలకు అనుమతి ఇవ్వడం వంటి నిర్ణయాలు కార్మికుల్లో ఆనందాన్ని నింపాయి. దశాబ్దాలుగా పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న సమస్యలకు పరిష్కారం లభించడంతో ఆర్టీసీ జేఏసీ ప్రభుత్వంకు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపింది.
ఈ సందర్భంగా జిల్లా ఆర్టీఏ సభ్యుడు భీమిడి జైపాల్ రెడ్డి సహా పలువురు నాయకులు కలిసి ముఖ్యమంత్రి Revanth Reddy, ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి భట్టి విక్రమార్క, టీపీసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్, మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు చిత్రపటాలకు పాలాభిషేకం నిర్వహించారు.
డిపోలో కార్మికులకు స్వీట్లు, పండ్లు పంపిణీ చేసి సంబరాలు నిర్వహించారు. మే డే సందర్భంగా డిపో మేనేజర్ సరిత ఆధ్వర్యంలో జెండా ఆవిష్కరణ కార్యక్రమం కూడా జరిగింది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో డిపో మేనేజర్ సరితా దేవి, అధికారులు, ఆర్టీసీ నాయకులు మరియు కార్మికులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొన్నారు.

Grand May Day celebrations were held at the Hakimpet RTC Depot in Shamirpet mandal of Medchal-Malkajgiri district, Telangana, with enthusiastic participation from workers.
The celebrations gained momentum following successful discussions between the state government and the RTC Joint Action Committee (JAC), which resulted in several key decisions benefiting RTC employees.
The high-level talks were attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Labour Minister Gaddam Vivek, and Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar.
Key decisions announced by the government include implementation of 11% PRC, merger of RTC into the government, and permission for union elections. These measures brought cheer among workers, who expressed gratitude to the government for resolving long-pending issues.
On the occasion, local leaders including RTA member Bheemidi Jaipal Reddy and Congress leaders organized a symbolic milk abhishekam to portraits of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, TPCC President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, and other ministers as a gesture of thanks.
Sweets and fruits were distributed to RTC workers, and a flag-hoisting ceremony was conducted under the supervision of Depot Manager Saritha. A large number of officials, RTC leaders, and workers participated in the celebrations.
