ఫార్మర్ ఐడీ అనేది రైతు వివరాలను డిజిటల్గా గుర్తించేందుకు రూపొందించిన ప్రత్యేక గుర్తింపు. కేంద్ర వ్యవసాయ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ప్రకారం, ఈ ఐడీని పీఎం కిసాన్, పంటల బీమా, కనీస మద్దతు ధర ఆధారిత కొనుగోళ్లు, రుణ సదుపాయాలు, ఇన్పుట్ పంపిణీ, విపత్తు సహాయం వంటి వ్యవసాయ సేవలతో అనుసంధానం చేస్తున్నారు.
జూలై 20, 2026 నాటికి దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 10.18 కోట్లకు పైగా ఫార్మర్ ఐడీలు రూపొందించినట్లు కేంద్ర వ్యవసాయ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ తెలిపింది. ఇందులో తెలంగాణలో 50,02,227 ఫార్మర్ ఐడీలు రూపొందినట్లు అధికారిక గణాంకాలు వెల్లడించాయి.
తెలంగాణలో సెప్టెంబర్ 22 నుంచి 30 వరకు ఫార్మర్ రిజిస్ట్రీ నమోదు కోసం ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమం కొనసాగుతున్నట్లు ప్రస్తుత నివేదికలు పేర్కొంటున్నాయి. ఇప్పటికే నమోదు చేసుకున్న రైతులు మళ్లీ నమోదు చేయాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందా అనే విషయాన్ని స్థానిక వ్యవసాయ అధికారుల వద్ద నిర్ధారించుకోవాలని సూచిస్తున్నారు.
అయితే ఫార్మర్ ఐడీ నమోదు చేయకపోతే పీఎం కిసాన్, రైతు భరోసా డబ్బులు వెంటనే పూర్తిగా నిలిచిపోతాయని ఖచ్చితంగా చెప్పడానికి ప్రస్తుతం అందుబాటులో ఉన్న కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఆధారాల్లో స్పష్టమైన ఆధారం లేదు. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఫార్మర్ ఐడీని పీఎం కిసాన్ వ్యవస్థతో అనుసంధానిస్తున్నప్పటికీ, అధికారిక సమాచారం ప్రకారం కొన్ని రాష్ట్రాల్లో కొత్త పీఎం కిసాన్ నమోదులకు ఫార్మర్ ఐడీ తప్పనిసరి చేశారు.
రైతులు ఆధార్, ఆధార్కు అనుసంధానమైన మొబైల్ నంబర్, పట్టాదారు పాస్బుక్ వంటి వివరాలతో సంబంధిత వ్యవసాయ అధికారులను సంప్రదించి తమ ఫార్మర్ రిజిస్ట్రీ స్థితిని తెలుసుకోవచ్చు. స్థానికంగా అందుబాటులో ఉన్న నమోదు కేంద్రాలు, వ్యవసాయ విస్తరణాధికారుల ద్వారా ప్రక్రియను పూర్తి చేసుకోవచ్చు.
రైతులు తమ ఫార్మర్ ఐడీ ఇప్పటికే రూపొందిందో లేదో కూడా అధికారిక వ్యవస్థల్లో తనిఖీ చేసుకోవడం మంచిది. నమోదు విషయంలో సందేహాలు ఉంటే అనధికారిక వెబ్సైట్లు లేదా సోషల్ మీడియా పోస్టులను నమ్మకుండా వ్యవసాయ శాఖ అధికారులను సంప్రదించాలని సూచిస్తున్నారు.

Telangana farmers are being advised to complete their Farmer Registry registration as the State continues efforts to create and update digital Farmer IDs.
A Farmer ID is a unique digital identification linked to a farmer’s details and land records. The Union Agriculture Ministry says the Farmer ID system is being integrated with agricultural services and schemes, including PM-KISAN, crop insurance, MSP-based procurement, credit delivery, input distribution and disaster relief.
According to official data released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, more than 10.18 crore Farmer IDs had been generated across India as of July 20, 2026. Telangana had generated 50,02,227 Farmer IDs by that date.
Reports on the current Telangana registration drive state that a special Farmer Registry registration window is being conducted from September 22 to September 30. Farmers who have not yet completed registration are being advised to approach the concerned agriculture officials and verify their registration status.
However, farmers should note an important distinction. Official PM-KISAN information says Farmer ID has been made mandatory for new PM-KISAN registrations in states where Farmer Registry work has commenced. The available official material does not establish that every existing PM-KISAN beneficiary will automatically lose the benefit solely because they fail to obtain a Farmer ID by September 30.
The Union government has nevertheless been expanding the Farmer Registry system to integrate agricultural benefits and services through a common digital framework.
Farmers can approach the relevant agriculture officials with their Aadhaar details, Aadhaar-linked mobile number and land-related documents to check their Farmer Registry status and complete registration where required.
Farmers are advised to verify any deadline or benefit-related consequence with the Agriculture Department rather than relying on social-media forwards or unverified websites.
