మల్కాజిగిరి కమిషనరేట్ పరిధిలో గణేశ్ ఉత్సవాల సందర్భంగా ప్రజా భద్రతపై అవగాహన కల్పించేందుకు గణేశ్ సురక్ష సంకల్ప్–2026 కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా మల్కాజిగిరి పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ బి. సుమతి గణేశ్ మండపాలను సందర్శించి భక్తులతో మాట్లాడారు.
బోయిన్పల్లిలోని సౌజన్య కాలనీలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన గణేశ్ మండపాన్ని సందర్శించిన కమిషనర్ సుమతి అక్కడి భక్తులను ఉద్దేశించి మాట్లాడారు. ఉత్సవాల సమయంలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ అప్రమత్తంగా, బాధ్యతాయుతంగా వ్యవహరించాలని సూచించారు.
మహిళలు, చిన్నారుల భద్రతపై ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ వహించాలని, మాదకద్రవ్యాల దుర్వినియోగానికి దూరంగా ఉండాలని పోలీసులు అవగాహన కల్పించారు. అలాగే ఆన్లైన్ మోసాలు, సైబర్ నేరాల నుంచి రక్షణ కోసం ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు.
గణేశ్ ఉత్సవాలు ప్రశాంతంగా, సురక్షితంగా జరిగేలా ప్రజలు పోలీసులకు సహకరించాలని అధికారులు కోరారు. భద్రతకు సంబంధించిన అంశాలపై అవగాహన పెంచుకోవడం ద్వారా సురక్షితమైన సమాజాన్ని నిర్మించవచ్చని ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో వివరించారు.
గణేశ్ సురక్ష సంకల్ప్–2026లో మహిళా భద్రత, బాలల రక్షణ, డ్రగ్స్ నివారణ, సైబర్ భద్రత వంటి అంశాలకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నట్లు మల్కాజిగిరి పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.

As part of Ganesh Suraksha Sankalp–2026, Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police B. Sumathi, IPS, visited Ganesh mandaps across the Malkajgiri Commissionerate and interacted with devotees as part of a community safety awareness initiative.
During her visit to a Ganesh mandap at Soujanya Colony in Bowenpally, CP Sumathi addressed devotees and highlighted the importance of remaining alert, informed and responsible during the festival.
The awareness programme focused on key public-safety concerns, including women and child safety, prevention of drug abuse and cyber safety.
Police officials encouraged devotees and members of the community to remain vigilant and cooperate with the police to ensure that Ganesh festivities are conducted peacefully and safely.
The initiative aims to strengthen community awareness around safety issues while encouraging responsible participation during the festival.
