The Cyberabad Police have intensified the investigation into the POCSO case involving Sai Bhageerath, son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar, by invoking stricter provisions under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in Hyderabad.
According to investigators, the revised sections relate to aggravated penetrative sexual assault, which carries severe punishment under the law. Officials said the changes were made after examining the statement of the minor survivor and reviewing evidence collected during the ongoing investigation.
