The Telangana government has initiated steps to expand the ambit of the ambitious Bharat Future City project by considering the inclusion of additional villages. Following requests received from several villages, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has reportedly given in-principle approval for bringing more villages under the Bharat Future City limits.
According to official sources, representatives from various villages that have already passed resolutions sought inclusion in the project area. Based on these representations, relevant government departments examined the proposals and submitted preliminary assessments.
The Chief Minister indicated that a final decision on incorporating the remaining villages would be taken after conducting village-wise consultations. Officials are expected to consider public opinion, land-use patterns, infrastructure requirements, and long-term development prospects before making any final announcement.
