హైదరాబాద్ నాచారం ఐడీఏ ప్రాంతంలో తెలంగాణ ఫుడ్ కార్పొరేషన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కొత్త బాలామృతం ఉత్పత్తి కేంద్రాన్ని తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రారంభించారు. అనంతరం ఉత్పత్తి, ప్యాకింగ్ విభాగాలను పరిశీలించి, ప్రాంగణంలో మొక్క నాటారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా నిర్వహించిన సభలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ చిన్నారులకు సరైన పౌష్టికాహారం, నాణ్యమైన విద్య అందించడం ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన బాధ్యత అని తెలిపారు. గర్భిణి తల్లి నుంచి ఆరు సంవత్సరాల వయస్సు వరకు పిల్లలకు బలవర్థకమైన ఆహారం అందించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ ఆధునిక బాలామృతం కేంద్రాన్ని ప్రారంభించినట్లు చెప్పారు.
పిల్లల ఆరోగ్యమే తెలంగాణ భవిష్యత్తుకు పునాది అని పేర్కొన్న ఆయన, నాణ్యత విషయంలో ఎలాంటి రాజీ ఉండదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో నర్సరీ నుంచి 12వ తరగతి వరకు చదివే విద్యార్థులకు అల్పాహారం, మధ్యాహ్న భోజనం, సాయంత్రం అల్పాహారం అందించే కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం అమలు చేస్తోందని తెలిపారు.
విద్యారంగంపై ప్రతి సంవత్సరం రూ.27 వేల కోట్లకు పైగా ఖర్చు చేస్తున్నామని, దానిని వ్యయంగా కాకుండా రాష్ట్ర భవిష్యత్తుపై పెట్టుబడిగా ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు.
బాలామృతం ఉత్పత్తి కేంద్రం గతంలో మహబూబ్నగర్లో ప్రారంభమై, ప్రస్తుతం 21 ఎకరాల విస్తీర్ణంలో అభివృద్ధి చెంది తెలంగాణ, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్తో పాటు మరికొన్ని రాష్ట్రాలకు పౌష్టికాహారం సరఫరా చేసే స్థాయికి చేరుకుందని తెలిపారు.
మహిళల ఆర్థిక సాధికారత కోసం ప్రభుత్వం అమలు చేస్తున్న ఉచిత ఆర్టీసీ ప్రయాణం, 200 యూనిట్ల వరకు ఉచిత విద్యుత్, ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు, మహిళా సంఘాలకు రుణాలు, సోలార్ ప్రాజెక్టులు, మహిళా శక్తి కేంద్రాలు, మహిళా క్యాంటీన్లు వంటి సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాలను కూడా ముఖ్యమంత్రి వివరించారు.
హైదరాబాద్లో నిరుపేదల కోసం లక్ష ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణం చేపట్టనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించిన ఆయన, 2034 నాటికి కోటి మంది మహిళలను కోటీశ్వరులుగా తీర్చిదిద్దే లక్ష్యంతో ప్రభుత్వం ఉపాధి, వ్యాపార అవకాశాలను విస్తరించేందుకు చర్యలు చేపడుతోందని చెప్పారు.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated the new Balamrutham production plant established by the Telangana Food Corporation at IDA Nacharam in Hyderabad. After inaugurating the facility, he inspected the production and packaging units and planted a sapling on the premises.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that providing nutritious food and quality education to children is one of the government’s highest priorities. He stated that the new Balamrutham plant has been established to ensure nutritious food for economically weaker children from the pregnancy stage of mothers until the child reaches six years of age.
He emphasized that healthy children are the foundation of a healthier Telangana and directed officials not to compromise on quality. The Chief Minister also highlighted the government’s initiative to provide breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks to students studying from nursery to Class 12 in government schools.
Revanth Reddy said the Telangana government spends nearly ₹27,000 crore annually on education and considers it an investment in the state’s future rather than an expenditure.
He noted that the Balamrutham initiative, originally launched in Mahabubnagar, has now expanded into a large 21-acre production facility capable of supplying nutritious food to Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and several other states.
The Chief Minister also outlined various welfare initiatives for women, including free RTC bus travel, free electricity up to 200 units, Indiramma housing, loans for women’s self-help groups, solar power projects, women empowerment centres, and women-run canteens.
He further announced that the government plans to construct one lakh houses for the urban poor in Hyderabad and aims to create one crore women millionaires by 2034 through expanded employment, entrepreneurship, and business opportunities.
