ఎన్‌సీఎల్ ర్యాంకింగ్‌లో తెలంగాణ ప్రస్తుతం 31వ స్థానంలో ఉన్న నేపథ్యంలో, ఈ-సాక్ష్య, భారతీయ న్యాయ సంహిత (బీఎన్‌ఎస్) కింద దర్యాప్తులు, జీరో ఎఫ్‌ఐఆర్‌ల అమలుపై సమీక్ష చేపట్టారు. మల్కాజిగిరి, హైదరాబాద్, నిజామాబాద్ పోలీస్ కమిషనరేట్లతో పాటు మహబూబ్‌నగర్, జీఆర్‌పీ సికింద్రాబాద్, యాదాద్రి భువనగిరి యూనిట్ల పనితీరును పరిశీలించారు.
ప్రతి యూనిట్ ర్యాంకింగ్‌ను ప్రభావితం చేస్తున్న నిర్దిష్ట అంశాలను సంబంధిత అధికారులకు వివరించి, వారి నుంచి వివరణలు కోరారు. లోపాలను సరిదిద్దేందుకు తక్షణ చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆదేశించారు.
డేటాను సకాలంలో అప్‌డేట్ చేయడం, ఎన్‌సీఎల్ విధానాన్ని సమర్థంగా అమలు చేయడం ప్రాధాన్యంగా ఉండాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు. వ్యక్తిగత యూనిట్ల పనితీరే రాష్ట్ర స్థాయి ర్యాంకింగ్‌పై ప్రభావం చూపుతుందని సమీక్షలో పేర్కొన్నారు.

A review of Telangana Police Crime and NCL rankings for July and August was conducted, focusing on units that require improvement in their performance. The review examined key indicators affecting the rankings and identified areas requiring immediate corrective action.
Under the Crime Ranking assessment, officials examined UI case disposal, ITSSO disposal, PT cases, convictions, On-Site FIRs and e-Petty cases. The performance of Wanaparthy, Nirmal, Cyberabad, Suryapet and GRP Secunderabad was reviewed in detail.
For the NCL Ranking, Telangana’s current position of 31 was discussed, with a focus on e-Sakshya, investigations under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Zero FIRs. The review covered Malkajgiri, Hyderabad and Nizamabad Commissionerates, along with Mahabubnagar, GRP Secunderabad and Yadadri Bhongir units.
Unit officers were informed about the specific performance indicators affecting their respective rankings. They were asked to explain the shortcomings and were directed to take immediate corrective measures.
Timely data updation and effective implementation of NCL practices were emphasised as key priorities. The review highlighted that the combined performance of individual police units plays an important role in determining Telangana’s overall ranking.
