తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో రైల్ లిమిటెడ్ (హెచ్ఎంఆర్ఎల్)లో కీలక పరిపాలనా మార్పులు చేపట్టింది. ప్రభుత్వం జారీ చేసిన జి.ఓ. ఆర్.టి. నెం. 920, తేదీ 27-06-2026 ప్రకారం, ప్రస్తుతం ఇన్వెస్ట్ తెలంగాణ చీఫ్ ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ ఆఫీసర్ (సీఈఓ)గా పనిచేస్తున్న **బి. అజిత్ రెడ్డి (IAS, 2012 బ్యాచ్)**కు హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో రైల్ లిమిటెడ్ అదనపు మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్ (Additional Managing Director)గా పూర్తి అదనపు బాధ్యతలు (Full Additional Charge – FAC) అప్పగించారు.
ఈ మేరకు సాధారణ పరిపాలన శాఖ (General Administration – SPL-A Department) ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేసింది. ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కే. రామకృష్ణరావు పేరుతో ఈ ఉత్తర్వులు విడుదలయ్యాయి.
రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న ఈ నిర్ణయంతో బి. అజిత్ రెడ్డి ఇన్వెస్ట్ తెలంగాణ సీఈఓగా కొనసాగుతూనే హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో రైల్ లిమిటెడ్ అదనపు మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్గా కూడా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహించనున్నారు. మెట్రో రైల్ ప్రాజెక్టుల పరిపాలన, నిర్వహణ మరియు అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాల్లో ఈ నియామకం కీలకంగా మారే అవకాశం ఉంది.

The Telangana Government has assigned Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the post of Additional Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) to B. Ajith Reddy (IAS: 2012).
According to G.O.Rt. No. 920 dated June 27, 2026, issued by the General Administration (SPL-A) Department, B. Ajith Reddy, who is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Invest Telangana, has been placed in full additional charge of the Additional Managing Director’s post at Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd.
The order was issued in the name of the Governor of Telangana and signed by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao.
With this appointment, B. Ajith Reddy will continue as CEO of Invest Telangana while also discharging the responsibilities of Additional Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd. The move is expected to strengthen administrative coordination and leadership within the state’s metro rail system.
