వివేకానంద కేంద్రం ప్రారంభ దశలో జీవనవ్రతిగా చేరిన ఏ. బాలకృష్ణన్ దేశవ్యాప్తంగా సేవా కార్యక్రమాల్లో చురుకుగా పనిచేశారు. ఈశాన్య రాష్ట్రాలతో ఆయనకు ప్రత్యేక అనుబంధం ఉంది. విద్యా, సామాజిక సేవ, దేశ నిర్మాణ కార్యక్రమాల్లో ఆయన కీలక పాత్ర పోషించారు.

A. Balakrishnan, Former All India President of Vivekananda Kendra, Passes Away
The passing of A. Balakrishnan, who served as the All India President of Vivekananda Kendra, has been deeply mourned. He dedicated more than five decades of his life to the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and the service of society.
As one of the early Jeevanvratis of Vivekananda Kendra, Balakrishnan worked extensively across the country. He had a particularly close association with the Northeast and made significant contributions to educational, social and nation-building initiatives.
Condolences were conveyed to the entire Vivekananda Kendra family and his admirers. His long years of service and contribution to society were remembered with respect. Om Shanti.
