హైదరాబాద్లో గణేష్ విగ్రహాల నిమజ్జనం శనివారం కూడా కొనసాగుతోంది. శుక్రవారం నుంచి భారీ సంఖ్యలో విగ్రహాలు నిమజ్జనానికి తరలిరావడంతో నగరంలోని ప్రధాన మార్గాల్లో రద్దీ నెలకొంది. ఇప్పటివరకు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా లక్షకు పైగా గణేష్ విగ్రహాలు నిమజ్జనం అయినట్లు తాజా సమాచారం వెల్లడిస్తోంది.
తెలంగాణలో ఈ ఏడాది గణేష్ విగ్రహాల పోర్టల్లో సుమారు 1.24 లక్షల విగ్రహాలు నమోదయ్యాయి. ఇళ్లలో, అపార్ట్మెంట్లు, గేటెడ్ కమ్యూనిటీల్లో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన విగ్రహాలను కలుపుకుంటే మొత్తం సంఖ్య దాదాపు నాలుగు లక్షలకు చేరుతుందని అధికారులు అంచనా వేశారు.
హైదరాబాద్లో మొజాంజాహీ మార్కెట్, చార్మినార్, తెలంగాణ తల్లి ఫ్లైఓవర్, ట్యాంక్బండ్, నెక్లెస్ రోడ్, ఎన్టీఆర్ మార్గ్ తదితర ప్రాంతాల్లో విగ్రహాల ఊరేగింపులు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. భారీ సంఖ్యలో భక్తులు తరలిరావడంతో కొన్ని ప్రధాన రహదారుల్లో ట్రాఫిక్పై ప్రభావం పడుతోంది.
హుస్సేన్ సాగర్ వద్ద కూడా శనివారం నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమం కొనసాగుతోంది. మిగిలిన విగ్రహాల నిమజ్జనం పూర్తయ్యే వరకు పోలీసు, ట్రాఫిక్ విభాగాలు పరిస్థితిని పర్యవేక్షిస్తున్నాయి. ప్రధాన నిమజ్జన మార్గాల్లో ప్రయాణించే వాహనదారులు ప్రత్యామ్నాయ మార్గాలను ఎంచుకోవాలని అధికారులు సూచిస్తున్నారు.

Hyderabad is witnessing continued Ganesh idol immersion activity on Saturday, with the final phase of the festivities extending into the weekend. More than one lakh Ganesh idols have been immersed so far, while the remaining idols are expected to be taken to designated immersion points through Saturday afternoon.
A total of around 1.24 lakh Ganesh idols were registered on Telangana’s Ganesh Idols Portal this year. Including idols installed at homes, apartments and gated communities, the overall number across the State has been estimated at nearly four lakh.
In Hyderabad, large numbers of idols continue to move through major procession routes, including Mozamjahi Market, Charminar, Telangana Thalli Flyover, Tank Bund, Necklace Road and NTR Marg. The movement of devotees and vehicles has affected traffic on several key roads.
Immersion activity is also continuing around Hussain Sagar. Police and traffic personnel are monitoring the remaining processions and managing vehicle movement around the major routes. Motorists have been advised to avoid immersion routes unless necessary and use alternative roads where possible.
