Nenu Saitham 2.0 Strengthens Safety
మల్కాజిగిరి జోన్లో ‘నేను సైతం 2.0’.. 3,421 సీసీ కెమెరాల ఏర్పాటు
మల్కాజిగిరి జోన్లో కమ్యూనిటీ భద్రతను మరింత బలోపేతం చేసేందుకు చేపట్టిన ‘నేను సైతం 2.0’ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా ఇప్పటివరకు 3,421 సీసీ కెమెరాలను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. వ్యూహాత్మకంగా గుర్తించిన ప్రాంతాల్లో నిఘా వ్యవస్థను విస్తరించేందుకు పోలీసుల ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని చేపట్టారు.
జూలై 1 నుంచి 6 వరకు నిర్వహించిన తొలి ఇంటెన్సివ్ డ్రైవ్లో 1,821 సీసీ కెమెరాలను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. అనంతరం ఆగస్టు 15 నుంచి 24 వరకు నిర్వహించిన రెండో ఇంటెన్సివ్ డ్రైవ్లో మరో 1,600 కెమెరాలను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. దీంతో రెండు దశల్లో మొత్తం 3,421 కెమెరాలు అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చాయి.
మల్కాజిగిరి జోన్ పరిధిలో ఇవాళ ఒకేసారి 767 ప్రాంతాల్లో సీసీ కెమెరాల ప్రారంభోత్సవ కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించారు. వ్యూహాత్మకంగా గుర్తించిన ప్రాంతాల్లో నిఘాను పెంచడం ద్వారా నేరాల నియంత్రణతో పాటు ప్రజల భద్రతను మెరుగుపరచడమే లక్ష్యంగా ఈ చర్యలు చేపట్టారు.
సీసీటీవీ నెట్వర్క్ విస్తరణతో కీలక ప్రాంతాలపై పోలీసుల పర్యవేక్షణ మరింత బలోపేతం కానుంది. కమ్యూనిటీ భాగస్వామ్యంతో భద్రతా వ్యవస్థను మరింత పటిష్టం చేయడమే ‘నేను సైతం 2.0’ కార్యక్రమం ఉద్దేశంగా పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.

Nenu Saitham 2.0: 3,421 CCTV Cameras Installed Across Malkajgiri Zone
The Malkajgiri Zone has strengthened its surveillance network by installing 3,421 CCTV cameras under the ‘Nenu Saitham 2.0’ intensive drive. The initiative focuses on expanding surveillance at strategically identified locations to improve community safety.
During the first intensive drive conducted from July 1 to 6, a total of 1,821 CCTV cameras were installed. In the second intensive drive, held from August 15 to 24, another 1,600 cameras were installed, taking the total to 3,421 cameras.
As part of the initiative, 767 simultaneous CCTV inauguration programmes were conducted across the Malkajgiri Zone today. The cameras have been installed at strategically identified locations to strengthen surveillance and enhance public safety.
The expanded CCTV network is expected to improve police monitoring of key locations and support crime prevention efforts. Police said the initiative also reflects the importance of community participation in building safer neighbourhoods
