ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్లోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుంచి వచ్చిన బూత్ లెవల్ ఆఫీసర్లు (BLOలు) కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం చీఫ్ ఎలక్షన్ కమిషనర్ జ్ఞానేశ్ కుమార్తో లక్నోలో సమావేశమయ్యారు. క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో ఎన్నికల ప్రక్రియలో ఎదురవుతున్న అనుభవాలు, సవాళ్లు, సూచనలను BLOలు ఆయనతో పంచుకున్నారు.
లక్నోలోని ఇందిరా గాంధీ ప్రతిష్ఠాన్లో జరిగిన ఈ సమావేశంలో ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్లో ఎన్నికల విధుల్లో పాల్గొంటున్న BLOలు తమ క్షేత్రస్థాయి అనుభవాలను వివరించారు. ఓటర్లతో నేరుగా పనిచేసే సమయంలో ఎదురవుతున్న అంశాలు, ఎన్నికల ప్రక్రియను మరింత సమర్థవంతంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు అవసరమైన సూచనలను వెల్లడించారు.
దేశ ఎన్నికల వ్యవస్థలో BLOల పాత్ర కీలకమైనది. ఓటర్ల జాబితాల నిర్వహణ, ఓటర్లకు సంబంధించిన క్షేత్రస్థాయి సేవలు, ఎన్నికల ప్రక్రియపై అవగాహన కల్పించడం వంటి బాధ్యతల్లో వారు ముఖ్య పాత్ర పోషిస్తారు.

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar Interacts with UP BLOs
Booth Level Officers (BLOs) from across Uttar Pradesh interacted with Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. The BLOs shared their experiences, challenges and insights from their work at the grassroots level of India’s electoral process.
During the interaction, BLOs discussed their experiences of working directly with voters and highlighted issues encountered while carrying out election-related responsibilities. They also shared suggestions aimed at making the electoral process more effective at the grassroots level.
BLOs play an important role in India’s electoral system, particularly in maintaining electoral rolls, facilitating voter-related services and supporting election-related activities at the field level.
