ACB Raids, ₹6.87 Crore Assets Found
ఇబ్రహీంపట్నం తహసీల్దార్పై ఏసీబీ దాడులు.. రూ.6.87 కోట్ల ఆస్తుల గుర్తింపు
రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా ఇబ్రహీంపట్నం ఆర్డీవో కార్యాలయంలో పనిచేస్తున్న తహసీల్దార్ దేశాని శ్రీనివాస్రెడ్డికి చెందిన ఏడు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఏసీబీ అధికారులు గురువారం ఏకకాలంలో సోదాలు నిర్వహించారు. ఆదాయానికి మించిన ఆస్తులు కూడబెట్టారనే ఆరోపణలపై కేసు నమోదు చేసిన అధికారులు, ప్రభుత్వ లెక్కల ప్రకారం సుమారు రూ.6.87 కోట్ల విలువైన ఆస్తులను గుర్తించారు.
కర్మన్ఘాట్లో రెండు ఫ్లాట్లు, జీ+3 పెంట్హౌస్, యాచారంలో 10 ఎకరాల భూమి, వివిధ ప్రాంతాల్లో ఎనిమిది ఓపెన్ ప్లాట్లను ఏసీబీ గుర్తించింది. బాలాపూర్లోని ఓ బార్ అండ్ రెస్టారెంట్లో సుమారు రూ.86 లక్షల పెట్టుబడులు ఉన్నట్లు అధికారులు గుర్తించినట్లు సమాచారం.
సోదాల్లో రూ.4 లక్షల నగదు, 680 గ్రాముల బంగారు ఆభరణాలు, సుమారు రూ.59 లక్షల విలువైన వాహనాలు, బ్యాంకు డిపాజిట్లకు సంబంధించిన వివరాలను అధికారులు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నట్లు ఏసీబీ వెల్లడించింది. గుర్తించిన ఆస్తుల మార్కెట్ విలువ ప్రభుత్వ లెక్కల కంటే ఎక్కువగా ఉండే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
శ్రీనివాస్రెడ్డిపై గతంలోనూ ఆదాయానికి మించిన ఆస్తుల కేసు నమోదైనట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు. 2009లో మహేశ్వరం మండలంలో రెవెన్యూ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్గా పనిచేసిన సమయంలో ఆయనపై తొలిసారిగా ఇలాంటి కేసు నమోదైనట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు.
ప్రస్తుతం లాకర్లు, ఇతర ఆస్తులు, పత్రాలకు సంబంధించిన వివరాలపై ఏసీబీ అధికారులు మరిన్ని సోదాలు కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు. సోదాలు పూర్తయిన అనంతరం గుర్తించిన ఆస్తులు, పత్రాలపై మరింత స్పష్టత వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉంది.

ACB Raids on Ibrahimpatnam Tahsildar; Assets Worth ₹6.87 Crore Identified
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials conducted simultaneous searches at seven locations linked to Desani Srinivas Reddy, a Tahsildar working as the Divisional Administrative Officer at the Ibrahimpatnam RDO office in Rangareddy district. A case has been registered against him on allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. Officials have identified assets worth approximately ₹6.87 crore based on government valuation.
The searches covered two flats and a G+3 penthouse in Karmanghat, 10 acres of land in Yacharam and eight open plots in different locations. Officials also identified an investment of around ₹86 lakh in a bar and restaurant in Balapur.
The ACB reportedly seized ₹4 lakh in cash, 680 grams of gold jewellery, vehicles valued at around ₹59 lakh and details of bank deposits during the searches. Officials indicated that the market value of the identified properties could be significantly higher than their government valuation.
This is reportedly not the first disproportionate-assets case involving Srinivas Reddy. According to officials, a similar case was registered against him in 2009 when he was working as a Revenue Inspector in Maheshwaram mandal.
The ACB is continuing searches relating to lockers, documents and other assets. Further details are expected after the ongoing searches and verification of the seized records are completed.
