డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ తెలంగాణ సచివాలయంలో HMDA పనితీరు, కొనసాగుతున్న అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలపై ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి ఎస్.కె. జాజు సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రోపాలిటన్ రీజియన్లో చేపడుతున్న మౌలిక వసతుల ప్రాజెక్టుల పురోగతిని అధికారులను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు.
అభివృద్ధి పనుల్లో వివిధ విభాగాల మధ్య సమన్వయంతో ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించాలని ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి సూచించారు. కీలక మౌలిక వసతులు, అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టులను వేగంగా పూర్తి చేసేందుకు చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని ఆదేశించారు.
హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రోపాలిటన్ రీజియన్లో పట్టణ మౌలిక వసతులను మరింత బలోపేతం చేయాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. దీర్ఘకాలిక అవసరాలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని స్థిరమైన, సమగ్ర పట్టణ అభివృద్ధికి ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వాలని సూచించారు.
ప్రజల అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా, పౌర కేంద్రిత విధానంతో పట్టణాభివృద్ధి ప్రణాళికలను అమలు చేయాలని ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి స్పష్టం చేశారు. తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ 2047 లక్ష్యాలకు అనుగుణంగా హైదరాబాద్ ప్రాంత అభివృద్ధిని ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్లాలని అధికారులకు సూచించారు.
Telangana Chief Secretary S. K. Jaju reviewed the functioning of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and ongoing development initiatives at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.
During the review, the Chief Secretary directed officials to ensure coordinated planning and expedite key infrastructure and development projects across the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region.
He stressed the need to strengthen urban infrastructure while adopting a sustainable, integrated and citizen-centric approach to development.
Officials were also directed to improve coordination among departments involved in major projects and accelerate implementation to meet the region’s growing infrastructure requirements.
The Chief Secretary emphasised that urban development in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region should be aligned with the vision of Telangana Rising 2047, with a focus on long-term planning and citizen needs.
