అర్జున అవార్డులకు ఎంపికైన తెలంగాణ క్రీడాకారులు గాయత్రి గోపీచంద్, ధనుష్ శ్రీకాంత్లకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. క్రీడారంగంలో వారు సాధించిన ప్రతిభ తెలంగాణతో పాటు దేశానికి గర్వకారణమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
షట్లర్ గాయత్రి గోపీచంద్, షూటర్ ధనుష్ శ్రీకాంత్ ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక అర్జున అవార్డులకు ఎంపిక కావడంపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. క్రీడారంగంలో అత్యుత్తమ ప్రతిభ కనబరిచి ఈ పురస్కారానికి ఎంపికైన ఇద్దరూ తెలంగాణకు, దేశానికి గర్వకారణమని అన్నారు.
గాయత్రి గోపీచంద్, ధనుష్ శ్రీకాంత్లకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రత్యేకంగా అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. క్రీడల్లో వారు చూపిన ప్రతిభ, అంకితభావం, పట్టుదల ప్రశంసనీయమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
జాతీయ క్రీడా పురస్కారాలు–2025 అందుకున్న విజేతలందరికీ కూడా ముఖ్యమంత్రి శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. క్రీడారంగంలో వారు కనబరిచిన అంకితభావం, కృషి, పట్టుదల యువ క్రీడాకారులకు స్ఫూర్తిదాయకమని అన్నారు.
భవిష్యత్తులో గాయత్రి గోపీచంద్, ధనుష్ శ్రీకాంత్తో పాటు జాతీయ క్రీడా పురస్కారాల విజేతలు మరిన్ని విజయాలు సాధించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆకాంక్షించారు. దేశానికి మరింత పేరు తీసుకురావడంతో పాటు ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక పురస్కారాలు అందుకోవాలని కోరుకున్నారు.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated shuttler Gayatri Gopichand and shooter Dhanush Srikanth on being selected for the prestigious Arjuna Awards. He said their achievements in sports were a matter of pride for Telangana and the country.
The Chief Minister extended special greetings to Gayatri Gopichand and Dhanush Srikanth, who were selected for the Arjuna Awards for their outstanding performances in their respective sporting disciplines.
Revanth Reddy said the dedication, perseverance and hard work demonstrated by the two athletes were commendable. Their achievements, he noted, would serve as an inspiration to young sportspersons across Telangana and the country.
The Chief Minister also congratulated all the winners of the National Sports Awards 2025. He appreciated their commitment and sustained efforts in sports and wished them greater success in the years ahead.
He expressed hope that Gayatri Gopichand, Dhanush Srikanth and other award winners would continue to achieve new milestones and bring further recognition to Telangana and India.
