Dr. MCR TIMS Inaugurated in Hyderabad | Major Boost to Telangana Healthcare
హైదరాబాద్లో డాక్టర్ మరిచెన్నారెడ్డి తెలంగాణ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ మెడికల్ సైన్సెస్ (Dr. MCR TIMS) ప్రారంభమైంది. అధునాతన వైద్య సదుపాయాలతో తెలంగాణ ప్రజలకు మెరుగైన తృతీయ స్థాయి వైద్య సేవలను అందించడమే లక్ష్యంగా ఈ సూపర్ స్పెషాలిటీ ఆసుపత్రిని ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
సనత్నగర్లో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన Dr. MCR TIMSను ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రారంభించారు. తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ ప్రజారోగ్య మౌలిక వసతులను మరింత బలోపేతం చేయడంతో పాటు, అధునాతన వైద్య సేవలను ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావడంలో ఈ సంస్థ కీలకంగా నిలవనుంది.
కార్డియాక్, మూత్రపిండాలు, ట్రాన్స్ప్లాంట్, ట్రామా సైన్సెస్ విభాగాల్లో అత్యున్నత స్థాయి వైద్య సేవలను అందించేలా Dr. MCR TIMSను సెంటర్ ఆఫ్ ఎక్సలెన్స్గా అభివృద్ధి చేశారు. ఆసుపత్రిలో 3.0 టెస్లా MRI, 128-స్లైస్ CT స్కానర్, క్యాథ్ ల్యాబ్లు, LINAC రేడియేషన్ యూనిట్ వంటి ఆధునిక వైద్య సాంకేతిక పరికరాలు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి.
తెలంగాణలో ప్రజలకు మరింత అందుబాటులో, మెరుగైన, ప్రజాకేంద్రీకృత వైద్య వ్యవస్థను నిర్మించడమే ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్రంలో చేపడుతున్న ఇతర కీలక వైద్య మౌలిక వసతుల పనులను కూడా దశలవారీగా పూర్తి చేయనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
ఓస్మానియా జనరల్ ఆసుపత్రి, TIMS అల్వాల్, TIMS ఎల్బీనగర్, వరంగల్ సూపర్ స్పెషాలిటీ ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణం, అభివృద్ధి పనులను దశలవారీగా పూర్తి చేయనున్నట్లు ప్రభుత్వం పేర్కొంది. దీంతో హైదరాబాద్తో పాటు రాష్ట్రంలోని ఇతర ప్రాంతాల్లోనూ అధునాతన వైద్య సేవల విస్తరణకు అవకాశం ఏర్పడనుంది.
Hyderabad’s Dr. Marri Channa Reddy Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (Dr. MCR TIMS) has been inaugurated, marking a significant expansion of advanced public healthcare infrastructure in Telangana.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated the super-specialty hospital at Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad. The facility is designed to expand access to advanced tertiary healthcare and strengthen the state’s public healthcare system.
Dr. MCR TIMS has been developed as a Centre of Excellence for cardiac, renal, transplant and trauma sciences. The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technologies, including a 3.0 Tesla MRI, a 128-slice CT scanner, cath labs and a LINAC radiation unit.
The government said the hospital is part of its broader effort to build a stronger, more accessible and people-centric healthcare system in Telangana. The Chief Minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to completing major healthcare projects in phases.
These include Osmania General Hospital, TIMS Alwal, TIMS LB Nagar and the Warangal Super Specialty Hospital. Their phased completion is expected to further expand access to advanced medical treatment across the state.
